侯王古廟位於九龍城聯合道和東頭村道交界，2014 年侯王古廟被評為一級歷史建築物。九龍城侯王古廟的確實興建年份已不可考究，古廟初為一座茅屋，大概建於 1730 年或以前。
到底侯王是誰？眾說紛紜，最廣為人傳的說法是楊侯乃南宋末的忠臣及侯爺楊亮節，。因其守護宋室南逃至九龍以避元兵，故村民建廟以誌其英勇忠義。
Hau Wong Temple is located at the corner of Junction Road and Tung Tau Tsuen Road, Kowloon City. In 2014, the temple was declared Grade I historic building. The exact year of construction of the temple is unknown. It was originally a cottage, probably built in or before 1730.
There were different stories about who Hau Wong was.
The widely accepted story is that Yeung Hau was Yang Liangjie, a marquis of the last emperors of Southern Song dynasty, who fled with royal family to Kowloon after driven by the Mongols. The temple was built to commemorate his bravery and loyalty.
