Incredible lift and speed on her jumps. Credit to David Wilson's fluid choreography. There have been so many years of solely point focused certain parts of the world. It is so refreshing to see skating that is high quality, but with an actual performance. Her skating reminds me of skating from the past -- I would travel to competitions if there was more skating like this today! Her jumps have such lift and speed. Congratulations Jia! You have made Korea proud!

Jia! I'm very, very glad to find this type of skater! Even though she is still junior, all of her elements are already perfect. I'm moved by her elegant and sophisticated skating style.

WOW! What quality! as Mark said, back loading the program, David Wilson choreo, grace... really hope she stays healthy in mind and body. LOVED the Triple Lutz/Triple Toe (even if I'm not sure she was all the way round on the triple toe?) A joy to watch.

I wonder why the ISU didn't put up this video earlier? She's just gorgeous to watch, makes you understand why figure skating is such a great sport when done right. Light and effortless. I would have liked her to add a triple to her second Lutz rather than a double axel.

すでに、3回転ジャンプを7本跳んでいるので、ルール上つけることが可能な3回転は、3Aだけです。そのため、2回転で一番基礎点が高い2Aを付けたのです。(´-ω-`)

ISU only 7 triple jumps , she has choice Axcel or double jumps. Axel is the highest score jump , but it is very hard. Jia chose safe , high score which was double Axel. she probably Practice higher jumps. one day, she can 3axel jump and quadruples but if she doesn't have it, her performance and skating quality is exquisite itself.

지아선수 표현력이나 몸쓰는걸 보면 덤덤+순수를 타고난거 같아요. 계산된 움직임이나 오바스러운 표정 이런게 아니라 그냥 몸이 기본적으로 따라와주는거..

Watching this brilliant FS for the 2nd time and just realized she skated faster than last season. Now I understand why she left home in order to train with JP coaching teams. Wow the rivalry between Jia Shin and Mao Shimada is going to be intense this season, and might even go all the way to the next winter Olympics!

Jia’s skating speed is same as last year though but i think her choreography is much better this season.I mean of course it must be good reason to change couching team like the environment is convenient.Also, mao shimada can’t go next olympic because of the age😢

So many Russian girls' skating are weak. The only ones worth watching now are Muravieva and Kostyleva.

201 is a very good score in juniors. Lots of JGP podiums in previous years had scores close to that, and this event also had very strict scoring
