What's the point of liking her more than she likes him if he was going to act like an asshole for most of the time? I didn't like Jiang Chen's character for most part of the drama. I wanted xiaoxi to end up with Wu bosong so freaking much. If it was real life I don't think anyone would have been in love with a guy like Jiang Chen this long. I would have chosen Wu bosong who was there for me always.

@@samiazaman7940 I think the only times his behaviour was really bad after the first few episodes was when he was jealous to be honest. Also, he was an idiot for leaving, but he knows that and he apologised. People make mistakes, but he clearly does love her a lot. I think his love is just a lot more subtle than hers because his personality is very VERY quiet. Wu Bosong is very thoughtful towards her, but Jiang Chen does nice things for her too. I think the main difference is that he's extremely reserved and also that he enjoys teasing her as well. He helps her with the class money, lets her ride on his bike, carries her around, helps her hand out the fliers, etc. He's a pretty cold guy, so looking at how he treats other girls it's clear how much he likes her. He doesn't give other people the time of day, but he'll cover her ears to stop her from hearing hurtful things and let her cry into his jacket and not even get mad when she literally bites him lmao. It's a huge difference from how distant he is with others. His words are blunt, but his actions are often kind.

I kind of relate with you tbh. I got addicted to ALSB and had a huge crush on Yi Tian back when ALSB aired. Then, years later, I met this guy in High School whose smiles and actions are similar to Jiangchen. I only realized a month later that my attraction was perhaps bc of Yi Tian and Jiangchen lmaoo.
