Just goes to show that these boys put their entire heart and soul into this show

After rewatching that scene, you can totally see, when they cut from his close up, that he had totally lost control emotionally. That was when he had to step out. In the final shot, when they're just leaning in silence, you can see that he's got himself together and cleaned up his face some. His crying breaks my heart in that scene. It feels so raw compared to some other similarly emotional scenes they had which, while still good, lacked that perfect moment of realness.

After hearing him say this and going back and watching, you can actually tell he didn't have control over his emotions. Usually actors are trying to force the emotions forward so that they project on screen. Jensen actually had to fight his emotions back. You could tell he was struggling during that scene, he lost it. He's beautiful.

According to Danneel, Jensen didn't cry when JayJay was born. Guys this just proof how much Jensen gives to this show to Dean Winchester. Thank you Jensen for everything you have done for us for the show for everything.

wow. What a great actor. I thought he was crying crocodile tears like every actor does, but he could actually channel Deans emotions so acutely. Amazing

Jensen crying is just about the best thing I have ever seen. Dean himself is a character that tries to be all macho and shit but he's actually really, REALLY sensitive and he needs his brother to live.

That was definitely a stellar piece of acting in the Dean tells Sam about Hell episode! He really conveyed a feeling of being broken by the experience. It was a real vulnerability that came across. I could see how doing that scene affected him the way it did.

How I will survive after the show ends I just don't know, the laughter, sadness, excitement of the show is just wonderful and Jensen and Jared are so hot.

The line Jared is talking about is "I'm not leaving my brother alone out there."

Im so impressed by the fact that he did ANOTHER one of those emotional takes. My eyes are completely dried out after I cry.

Heck ya he can hang his hat on that scene. That scene was amazing. He is just a talented guy. His range of emotional, and stoic, and comedy is fantastic. Love that the show gives him the ability to showcase all of that.

The break up scene in the original (written by the drunk guys apparently) Sam was pissed off and he was yelling at Dean and Castiel like "Your into him and he's into you, so be together, nothing's in your way, because I'm out."

well I think it shows how much of an amazing professional actor Jensen is... Giving everything he has for this show even if it means making himself so vulnerable and putting himself in that situation. I totally cry everytime I see that scene.

T_T I cried watching this and now I'll cry more when I watch that scene during future rewatches.

I love these guys, they are incredibly talented actors and just all around great people. They truly put all their energy, emotion and heart into Supernatural and it is so clear to the audience how much it means to them. Thank you for everything guys, we love and appreciate everything you do 👍❤

I've had that exact same thing happen to me (the crying) while rehearsing for "Ondine" We were reworking the blocking in the last scene between Ondine and Hans, because it just hadn't been clicking the way it HAD to. Our director had us change our starting places, and then move when we FELT it, and then all of a sudden everything just fell into place. We were both sobbing through the scene, and then our director clapped his hands and said "That's it! There it is! I don't need to see any more! Go home!" But I couldn't stop bawling. I tried to pull myself together, but I just ended up sitting in my car for another 10 minutes crying before I called my friend playing Hans to hang out with me. I realized it was because I hadn't been able to resolve it, like it does at the end of the play (where she forgets) so I was just stuck in "the love of my life is dying" mode. It's nice to hear an actor I respect talk about this.

There’s the individual scenes that can make actors cry, but then there’s episodes like Swan Song with the collection of everything - the scenes where Dean doesn’t fight back against Lucifer in Sam’s body, when Sam gains control of his body again and sacrifices himself, Chuck talking about the importance of the impala throughout the episode, the terribly bittersweet emotion of the ending. The collective knowledge we had of all the seasons and characters leading up to this really hit us. If the series just ended with Sam in hell and Dean living a normal life but never the same again, I’d have been bawling for days (unfortunately I started watching this show when season 13 came out).

Oh My Lord, I always cry when I'm watch the scene where Dean tells Sam about hell, now I know how upset Jensen was I'll cry even more! He is so gorgeous & such an amazing actor.

Thats an interesting perspective ! I agree but I hardly ever cry either about things in life thats why I could kind of relate to how he felt about the moment and how he reacted to it ! Its one of my favorite scenes of the entire series just because I knew and felt that it was more than acting on that emotional part for some reason ! Emotions are very different and unique in some people's minds,hearts and spirit regardless of your age to me ! I think it comes from how people view life and death !

I'm kinda like this too in that I rarely cry. Sometimes I force myself to cry because it physically scares me that something doesn't make me want to cry (like when my grandmother died). But sometimes ai lose control and just can't pull myself back afterwards.

Actually, they're talking about the ending scene from "Slash fiction" in season 7. Jensen mentions a "head in the car": that one leviathan that they killed, remember?

I think if I saw him on set or saw him walking down the road trying crying like he was, I'd probably get upset and start crying seeing him like that and trying to help him regain himself.

The crowd is not laughing because they are not as evolved as you are, & are still happily immersed in playing the game of being victims of their emotions. Most souls on this planet are "young" souls, still evolving thru emotional stages. Jensen says he "doesn't cry much" -- that's not healthy, because crying is a natural emotional release that not only dissolves your negative Energy Blocks...it is a prerequisite for your soul's evolution towards ascended mastery in this physical reality.

Are you on drugs? Some people are more emotional than others. I very rarely cry because I deal with the emotions in other ways. It has nothing to do with your soul evolving.
