Last time I rode this was the early 90s on a steel-framed rigid beast with center pull rim brakes. That was NOT a pleasant ride. But that was also the day I decided to get a bike with a suspension fork (decent full suspension bikes were still a few years away). I’d love to ride that on my Stumpjumper now but I’m living in the southeast now, so probably not in my future anytime soon. Thanks for the memories!

Hi, im thinking in travel from Spain in September to ride in US and this trail is in my top list, can you give me any feedback about any shuttle company to go to the top? And if will decide ride in an epic journey from bottom to the top how many hours will need to do the 19miles climb between ciclable and unciclable? Thanks and if someone can give me any details..

Tom Clark The only shuttle service to the top makes you ride the road back down. Its best to just get a few people together and shuttle it yourself. I'm down to shuttle the peak anytime if anyone wants to make a trip! Or u can ride barr trail up....did that last year and it wasnt easy but definately worth it!
