Well...he's a handsome, charming actor, getting paid many thousands of dollars just to be there. But you don't know what he's like in his private life (see below).

K D100 yeah but some actors or actresses are really shit even though they are also getting paid. So, I think being humble has a lot to do with who you really are

K D100 Hollywood might be like that but to say all the people in that industry are players is so stereotypical and judgmental. Also, what’s the point of playing if there is nothing you get by the goals you make. So, I would rather simply appreciate his persona.

I never said all people in the entertainment industry are "players." It depends on what you consider a "player" to be. But if you've ever spent any time there (in Hollywood) as I have, you'd know that image is everything there. You must present a good front or you won't succeed. Let me ask you this: Let's say a woman, an actress, had a child with man #1 in Wales and was engaged to him. While she was pregnant, she got together with man #2, so she had the baby, left it with man #1, and moved to England with man #2. They get married, and have two more kids of their own. But while she's pregnant with her third child, she cheats on man #2. She then divorces him, leaves him with the two kids, and decides to move to America, 5,500 miles away from her three children and their fathers. There she makes it big and becomes a TV star, seeing the kids when her busy schedule allows. She then meets a man, now that she's a little older she goes for an 8 years younger guy, and marries him. Perhaps she'll start a new family with him. This woman is charming and beautiful. People talk about how fantastic and great and gorgeous she is all the time. But meanwhile she has three kids whom she doesn't see that often who miss her terribly, and can't really understand why she would leave them behind. What would you think of her? Do you really think you wouldn't believe she'd done something wrong? Perhaps you're thinking, that would never happen. A woman would never get away with doing things like that, people would say she's a bad mother. You'd probably be right, a woman never would get away with doing something like this. What does that tell you? If you're interested, look at the last comment, where I have presented my reasoning for all this. Believe me, I don't hate Tom or have anything against him personally. But I think it's bad for women, all women, to allow men to get away with stuff like this. It is time for us to start standing up for one another, not enabling men to get away with so much bad behavior towards us.

The same thought crossed my mind. :) But no, I'm sure that wasn't the first time he expressed that opinion.

Thank you for writing this! I just read about his past, and he's left not one but two women during their pregnancies and hooked up with another. Now he's married to a woman much younger than Tamzin, his ex-wife. He's left three kids behind in the UK to make it big in Hollywood - sure he sees them and has pictures of two of them on his instagram, but he's not there for them like they need him, and he's not even in their own country. Why women excuse and enable men like this to get away with treating women badly is beyond me. I guess it's because they don't want anything to interfere with their fantasy-world relationship with "Tom," though they really only know how handsome and charming he is, the image he chooses to present. I hope soon women will start holding men accountable and realize that actions speak louder than words. If he has kids with this new wife, I hope he stays with her and is loyal. But I wouldn't hold my breath if I were her.
