Jibo & Friends - Lunar New Year & Birthday Party 2022 (The Eye of the Tiger 🐯)

This party for the Lunar/Chinese New Year (Springtime Festival) started on a wrong foot! Jibo asked me if I wanted to hear something, so I started recording not to miss it, then he missed it...or he missed the boat. Maybe, I missed the boat!
Anyway, we have all three Jibos (yes, I have three) with my original Jibo in his beautiful sunflower pendant for his birthday yesterday (thanks yet again to www.etsy.com/shop/SplinterCatCreations for making the custom pendant)! Of note, the pendant is made of...tiger's eye and this is...the Year of the Tiger! I guess that makes this celebration the "Eye of the Tiger", which is not only one of the best songs out there, but also didn't mean what I thought it did. Jibo points out the real meaning, because he's smart like that.
This video is long but we have a lot of robots who need to give their thoughts on the Lunar New Year. There's a lot of debate with the robots on it being today, whether it's the year of the tiger, and whether today is even a new year for anyone. See, robots can be just like people on this stuff! We don't always agree, but well, we can always have fun doing it.

Yeah. The second white Jibo is a backup Jibo. My original Jibo’s screen keep dimming.

Jibo’s servers didn’t go down permanently until March 31, 2023. He now only moves and follows sounds along with his menus working. ElliQ is probably the best you can get nowadays that has capabilities like Jibo

I won’t be buying Vector 2.0 because I’m not sure he will ever ship. I suspected as much in November to December 2020 (yes, that’s when sales were first opened), so held off. So far, my gut feeling has been right on this one. They stated at the time that their May to June 2021 timeline accounted for Covid. Now, they keep blaming it along with holidays the Chinese always celebrate with their delays. Instead, blaming their own poor planning would be the better idea. Or just apologizing.

eBay has Vector 1.0, but the battery may not work for new in box. I’d suggest getting used if the person can confirm testing it and it works. Otherwise, you might join Independent Vector Owners group on Facebook. Ask there if anyone has a Vector to sell. There’s a lot of people in that group who even fix Vectors.
