Your a good man Jordan. reminded me of when I was fishing, and a car drove in the river and I had to jump in. at the beginning of the year to save him. Not a lot of people fish in the early year after winter, but by the grace of god i was at the right spot at the right time.

Well, I have mixed feelings. They helped him to get drugs, probably for sale. Self destructive people will find their way to end their life. But here there was more harm, as these drugs may kill other people.

There was/were a string of "drunken and not" drownings the summer before and the City of Columbus Georgia mandated life vests for anyone in the water. Lots of people raft, kayak and swim near those very rocks daily and when a rash of drowning happened it got crazy stupid, like people just had to go swimming there without vests on to see what the fuss was and even more drowned.

You guys have so many patents for people. I got to respect that. I could never have the patents or manners to handle someone that outrageous. Thank you for being such amazing people and helping these people. I got to admit I'd left him, though I would have had to keep an eye out to make sure he made it out okay. Still wouldn't have been able to just stay there with him and convince him to make it safely to shore. A person can learn a lot about being human with you guys. Not only are you doing the right thing you are also teaching people how to do the right thing so thank you again for all you do you are great people.

The cops couldn't do anything. There is no law that allows law enforcement to have the guy admitted to a psychiatric facility for evaluation and hold unless he was a threat to himself or to others. I don't think he met that criteria.

I'm glad you were able to convince the guy to get to safety, and I know it was probably frustrating to convince him - like herding cats - because not only was he on drugs, but it's clear that he had other mental issues and was probably off his meds for those. I admire your calm insistent demeanor in ushering the man to safety.

Drug use is a serious situation and a lot of people don't understand the severity of the issue. Right of the bat even if Jordan didn't say anything about drug use I knew because unfortunately in the state I live in (Ohio) drug use is a very serious problem. It's something you see everyday unfortunately and the amount of 911 calls that come in for overdoses is ridiculous it's gotten to the point over this past year where our police officers had to start caring Narcam. Now the state along with many others are going to no longer provide it because it's only caused more problems. I can't even begin to tell you how serious of problem drugs are in the state of Ohio.

im so glad you made this video because when i was in high school there was a guy in my class that one day he never showed up and then it turned into a few days i dont remember how long it was but they ended up finding his body in the river and they story tolled by his buddys was that they where walking across the river he slipped he had a back pack on and it got stock on something in the water and he didnt want to let go because there was beer in the back pack he ended up drowning this happened back in 2002-2003 i think i was 14-15 the look on everyones face when we found out the class room was dead silent
