I have a similar eyelet screw from a vintage Christmas tree holder that stays by my drill press because I’m lazy and never found a use/place for it. Now I can tell people it was my plan all along to use as a horizontal drill guide when I go manual. Thanks 😎

I've enjoyed watching all of your videos in the past and I admire your ability to think of, make and use fixtures and jugs. I love that one time jigs are simple and easy to discard afterward, and the long term fixtures and jigs are built with the same attention to detail as your furniture projects. Nice job Ramon.

Jigs and Fixtures - you're talking my language!!! That was a great video with all kinds of fabulous ideas. Your attention to the smallest detail is fantastic. For example, the idea of leaving the fence board on your wedge jig a bit long so you can be sure the board is tight - great stuff. Thanks Ramon

Why the 4 degree angle on the planer outfeed extension?
@binershock
@binershock 2 жыл бұрын
Was wondering that myself. It looked like the end of that cast iron table was tapered back a little towards the bottom but hard to tell
@ramonartful
@ramonartful 2 жыл бұрын
Yes…it’s called a draft angle typical of cast iron pours. The angle helps the pieces release. Thanks
