지코가 28일 0시 새 싱글 ‘BERMUDA TRIANGLE’(버뮤다 트라이앵글)을 발표했다.
지코는 그간 블락비 활동뿐만 아니라 ‘Boys And Girls’, ‘너는 나 나는 너’, ‘유레카’, ‘사랑이었다’ 등의 솔로 곡들로 차트를 쥐락펴락하며 음원 강자의 모습을 보여온 바 있다.
이번 싱글 역시 발매 전부터 SNS를 통한 힌트 공개 등 적극적인 소통에 나서며 기대를 모았고, 또 음원 강자의 귀환이라는 점에서 많은 대중들의 시선을 잡아끌었다.
새 싱글 ‘BERMUDA TRIANGLE’(버뮤다 트라이앵글)은 힙합을 기반으로 가장 ‘지코’ 다운 음악을 보여주는 곡으로, 자신감 넘치는 자의식이 돋보이는 가사가 눈길을 끈다. 트렌디한 사운드 위에 입혀진 지코의 카리스마 있는 래핑보다 가사에서 어우러지는 특유의 비유와 개성 있는 딕션이 돋보이는 세련된 힙합 트랙이다. ‘너는 나 나는 너’ 와는 달리 감성보단 트렌드와 음악성을 우위에 뒀다는 점을 주목할 만하다.

his target is korea, you are assuming it isn't. Just cause ifans like it and wan't to see and buy doesn't mean he is doing his songs trying to break from korea. If you knew them wich you don't, you would know they hardly promote out of korea and japan. When you say what is done there doesn't matter cause he is offending being racist, etc.. the same way you want people to understand your culture, you also need to put an effort to understand theirs. Foreign people will always know less even if they try hard to understand others. Regardless your standards you also need to see around the world if people will understand the same way. Using dreads is pretty common in my country because lots of people are mixed even tho they are white and really embrace their roots regardless skin color. Rap happens all over the world and many people really love it, so in my opinion as a black person from a mixed country that isn't US, unless someone is actually acting with racism towards others, offending and being disrespectful, what you talking about is a fight between white people and african americans in US, it doesn't represent what I believe is right. They are not white, neither they mocking or trying to disrespect anyone, for me that is simple appreciation like all the damn folks do when they come to my country, use our culture to feature in their music, but don't know much about us. That isn't disrespect is just a superficial way to exchange culture.
