these two have a special bond, it's different and i know everyone can see it, the fact that even jhope who was probably so close to jimin lately, only heard two songs from the album, which means he doesn't know about the secret song, that makes me feel how much more special the relationship between jimin and jungkook is, him knowing that this song exists, knowing that it's secret and hidden and doing the background vocals , even though jimin also did it for almost the whole song and the whole album, which means he just specifically wanted jungkook to do it beside the fact that he didn't want another person or a artist to be in his album, also how romantic and touching the lyrics are, not to forget that jungkook said on his live that he only had one lesson which is probably jimin who taught him because that he's credited with playing guitar for this song.Whatever those two are, I'm so proud of them and so touched by their relationship, and how they support each other, i hope they will always be this close and this special and continue to be on eachother side💜

He wrote these lyrics in such a clever way that it can absolutely be interpreted in many ways. Given all the BTS/Army details you really can’t fully deny that it’s a fan song. And again because it’s so cleverly written you can also apply it to a romantic relationship. Jimin is a master at hiding in plain sight and it extends to his music. He’s actually a genius for this.

what make me want to cry more is that in the weverse version of Face, there’s a draft of Letter lyrics that Jimin wrote himself. There is a line “you are the only one that hold me tight and protect me”, and here Jimin use “dangsin” for “you” in this sentence. For some reason, they didn’t include this line in the final version. As Jikookers, we all know what “dangsin” means, I believe it’s unnecessary to explain anymore. The fact they took it out in the final version make it even more suspicious. So yes, im sure Jimin wrote this song for his special person which i believe it’s JK ofc. You can’t convince me the other way 🥹😭😭

When I heard them I immediately thought of Serendipity, and Letter is like the conclusion. He's made up his mind: in Serendipity he was worried and scared, but in Letter he's saying that despite that fear they have each other for whatever lies ahead. I'm proud of them.

Even though the whole album is about Jimin, this is the song that felt the most like Jimin to me. Beautiful♥️

You know at first, i was convincing myself that the song is for Amy, when I first read the lyrics i didn't really pay attention to the details... I was convincing myself that it was for army at first because i though it was the most obvious and more rational... I didn't want to delulu myself... They talked about the fact that letter started at 6:13 in the like crazy eng (if I'm not wrong) and i told myself too that "it's normal if jk did the background vocal because, well, he is the main vocalist" .... I forced myself to believe that because i really didn't want to be delulu... But GOD I CANT 1. That interview when Jimin said that he didn't want a collab (i don't know the exact words but he said it, i know you know what I am talking about). But Jungkook is there 2. Jungkook is there, in a HIDDEN track. The last song of an album supposed to describe Jimin's journey during a certain period of his life. 3. A last song which have totally different vibe from others, more intimate, more raw, ... 4. And the fact that Jungkook only starts singing at the end (again) proves me that it was intentional because Jimin is a master of adlibs and back vocal too, he even did it in the first half of the song 5. The lyrics, the lyrics OMG it really feels so personal and again the part where they sing together, someone said that "when Jungkook starts to harmonize with Jimin, the song seems to take its peak [...] it's like as if the person who is hugging you suddenly decides to hug you harder" 6. If we suppose that it is a love song and Jimin was able to nail the background vocal of his own song, what's the point of using Jungkook voice at the end even? I don't expect Jimin to say directly that the song is about Jungkook when he goes live and i know that he won't do it, he is gonna pull the card of this is for army, which is to be expected... And that's totally okay, because he doesn't have to say anything, he just showed us what it is, like Jungkook did with GCF in Tokyo with THERE FOR YOU And IF all this happened to be wrong, it's okay again because Jimin and Jungkook still have each other as best friend, family, soulmate or wtv They will always be there for each other and protect each other (I'm sorry my English is not my first language but i just wanted to rant)
