Finally finished playing FFXVI and I'm so glad by how much I enjoyed it! Being very honest, I was pessimistic towards it at the beginning, after the initial trailers dropped. But I'm glad I was wrong!
I really think they did a good job keeping things interesting during the story. I know not everyone would agree, but the way they established the relationships between the characters was so much more organic than, let's say, XV imo. Jill and Clive were such a good example of what I wanted Luna and Noctis to be in the last installment, and I'm happy their development felt so gradual. And as a vidder, I really appreciate the amount of touching! It's so satisfying to have so much material to work with for once, hehe.
Buuuuut, as it couldn't be any different, I ended up being even more interested in a relationship that is not the main one lol Jote x Joshua are likely the next ones I'm editing for! What can I say, I do like to suffer with relationships that might or might not be canon and that have as few scenes as I could possibly need for editing purposes 😅
