Markets look like 2015-16. Probably going back to all time highs, but will probably go sideways until fed signals rate cut, Recently sold 25% of my portfolio comprising of plummeting stocks that were recommended by certain financial KZfaqrs, quite devastating!

Not their fault, the stock market seems to be more of a casino for gamblers now than a place for investors. even if you were averaging down on ailing companies, its your duty to properly research, buying the dip does not guarantee a rebound

Such uncertainty is the reason I don't base my conviction on rumors or a ''hearsay'' I have my day-to-day investing decisions being guided by an invt-advisor, seeing that their skillset is built around long and short term, both employing profit-oriented strategies and providing hedge against inevitable downtrends, coupled with exclusive analysis, it's near-impossible to not outperform. I've realized over $600k from $235k capital, since late 2019 just before the pandemic to date.

Awesome.. Please I would love to know or get in touch with your investment advisor. I could really use such expertise in growing my portfolio now that the entire markets is uncertain

Appreciate this recommendation, hopefully I can get some insight to where the market is headed and strategies to beat the downtrend with when I hear back from Monica.

Rate cuts commence in June 2024, taking 6-8 months to complete. A potential crash, if any, might occur by March 2025. The soft landing narrative is gaining traction, making this big recession everyone is calling for less likely. With $1 million from a business sale, I'm seeking profitable investment opportunities for the next 3 years.

The financial market is a reliable choice. Diversify your portfolio with I-bonds, stocks (ETFs, REITs, dividend-paying stocks), and bitcoin. Given your budget, I recommend hiring a fiduciary to ensure you receive professional insights for a fee.
@DorathyJoyАй бұрын
Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

I'm pleased I found this conversation. If you're comfortable with it, could you share how I can get in touch with the advisor you rely on for your investments?

Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with Melissa Terri Swayne for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.

They raise interest rates, but then continue their obscene overspending and money printing. Such a mess
@eabhaconnor2Ай бұрын
They stopped printing money when they started hiking interest rates. That's the literal meaning of quantitative tightening.
@stevenorris1Ай бұрын
yes, my point being why go through this process if you will continue overspending and devaluing the dollar either way. It’s a mess, we wouldn’t be in this spot if our government could run a budget. On a personal note I've worked closely with my advisor to grow my portfolio from $200k to $4.8 million through stock trading because as a businessman, I prefer to invest my money rather than let it sit idle and lose value over time due to inflation.
@davidbenett1Ай бұрын
Despite the ups and downs in the stock market, you've managed to turn your investments into good profits. Could you share the name of your advisor? I have $300k saved up and ready to invest. Letting money sit idle isn’t my style as well, I’d rather put it to work and keep it growing.
@stevenorris1Ай бұрын
She is well known as - Chasity George Charles. please do your own research.

If using the prime rate to control Inflation is the plan then the prime rate needs to go even higher because the Inflation rate is way higher than the numbers being reported.
@chrishardin7183Ай бұрын
Yields are going up because investors are flush with cash. They need to park it somewhere. Also, more government borrowing creates more cash in the economy which then needs to be parked.

While it might make sense for bond yields to go up, it begs the question, "if not in US bonds, where could the money go?" The global bond market is (in 2022) 133 trillion$. The US gov't bond market is 26 trillion$. The total market cap of all publicly traded stocks worldwide (2022) is 93 trillion$. The sheer size of the US bond relative to the size and risk profile of readily available alternatives acts as a strong brake on the potential impact of "bond vigilantes" in the US market. To control even 1% of the US bond market, a trader would need to control 260 billion$ in assets. Even in 2024, that is a very large amount of money.

The FED and their impending QE will and has controlled yields on the long end
