This is comedic gold.. Which you wont probably understand. There is truth behind the surface of comedy. Most people are the grasshopper that never can quit training and seeking perfection or to get the "pebble" . the pebble being an metaphor for the world or earth or dirt. You try to understand life(pebble) but you never become master because life is too complex and yet simple. Its too big for you to prepare and understand any of it. Yet.. Its simple if your aikido(black guy) or a average guy to understand his simple-small-meaning in life. Aikido is black. Normally he is from the streets and represents the ugly nature of what the ego hates to see. Death. He gets life or pebble. Its simple. Survive. Reproduce. Die. He see's life is short and just meant to be lived and do your small part. Jim carry character tries and struggles with the master( life-god-universal truth) with the 6 stages of grief. If you dont know the famous scientist maglow who says we suffer 6 stages of grief..its shown here. Jim goes thru the bargaining with the master(life) tries to hurry up because he is desperate and getting old.. He tries to bargain which is the bargain stage. He goes through the anger phase with the gun. And so on and so on. On one hand.. Yea.. We strive to be better than our slice of the pie by trying to overcome but there is a limitation. Anyway... Until i studied psychology.. I use to look at this and just see a comedy skit. Something funny and dumb. Yet.. Jim antics is on national t.v. because it represents the fine arts of psychology and also stage acting. People complain t.v is bad. (Yea alot of garbage out there..) But its a sugar coated form of college education in small burst. I guess.. Thats why they call it mass media.. Cause it appeals to the masses. Not everybody can show interest in school or stay focused or they need to learn from the comforts of home in front of a microwave dinner... Not in class with the teacher drilling fast and moving on, while miss hotty pants and sexual tension is in the air. Anyway.. You the grasshopper. If ya wanna live that way.. So be it. life is short and we are pending death and recycle and rebirth..etc. The reset button. Lol. As if that wasnt bad enough.. Fate time and money constraints.. So being humble or middle ground is the way. Just do ya bit for the future and thats all you can do. That little part It ripples and echos for eternity. Even if it is recognized or not.
