As a true Believer in God and His Son, Jesus Christ, a courage that defies all human reasoning has been imparted to me, by God! When a person surrenders to the Lord and asks the Lord to come in and dwell within his or her soul, the Holy Spirit indwells the person’s soul. The receiver of Jesus Christ becomes a new creature and the gates of hell cannot win in a battle against a born again Christian. The Lord is in the battle with the Believer, against satan and his demonic followers. The Believer in Christ is sealed for all eternity and heaven is created for all Believers.

I've never seen The Passion. I was an atheist when it came out, and now that I'm not I'm afraid of how upsetting it will be. But my goodness, this man got STRUCK BY LIGHTNING for this movie. And I'm afraid to sit in the comfort of my own home and watch it?! No more excuses. Jim Caviezel is a great actor, Mel Gibson is a great director and this is literally the greatest story ever told. Time to watch The Passion.

The first time I watched the movie, it was just the same as I'd imagined Our Lord's Passion would've been since I was a very young child (first grade! Catholic catechism & Lenten devotions always described how much Jesus suffered for our sins.) I've watched it many times since. Want to grow closer to Jesus? Meditate on what He did to save you. Yes, He did it for love of you.

Notice how you guys are sort of afraid to watch this movie but do you guys blink an eye at watching a horror movie? Why so much hesitation? We see all sorts of violence in action movies too. What you see in the passion is suffering done out of love. The Divine Hero laying down His life as both God and man for the sake of mankind. Even if you're an atheist (former one here!) there's benefits to watching the movie for educational purposes. Consider the impact Christianity played on the world for example.

States are at least taking steps, such as requiring sites like PHub to provide actual age verification (instead of just clicking "Yes" on the age verification popup). But PHub's response has just been to block those states entirely, encouraging visitors from those states to vote out their current politicians. So PHub clearly doesn't care about pornography being shown to underage people. In fact, they want to get people addicted at a young, impressionable age, and they know that their traffic would be cut down by like 90% if they required each visitor to do proper age verification.

Tim mentioned the Bible verse that gave him peace in dangerous times Personally, I think Jesus wasn't just warning the people around him or speaking in general to future believers. My testimony: After being an atheist for 8+ years, and "married" to another female, I got the urge one day to say out loud "IF there is an Almighty God that does NOT wish us pain or sorrow, please bring me truth, I wish to know you exist". Then God immediately started bringing me the answers I had been searching 8-11 YEARS for! I witnessed Him take control of my internet and the rest of my reality; He first proved to me that demons exist (I called them "inter-dimensional beings"), then He proved His own existence, which I later found to be Jesus Christ. As soon as I found Jesus at the end of 2020, He IMMEDIATELY took away my transgenderism, bisexuality, depression, daily suicide attempts, self harm, bulimia and anorexia; and He did this all without me asking Him to, because THAT'S how merciful and loving He is! Praise God! Repent of your sins and follow Jesus Christ while you still can. Jesus Christ is the name above all names, and the only way to Heaven. The Euphrates River has dried, which is Biblical prophecy, so there truly isn't much time at all🙏

@@VanAnon51 No. Yes, only through Jesus can we be saved. But it is incorrect and heretical to say you have to partake in the Catholic church sacraments to be saved. That's adding to what Jesus said you have to do to be saved. You're relying on additional things to Jesus in order to be saved; and that's not true faith in Jesus - therefore you aren't saved. Repent and believe the gospel.

I met Jim Caviezel at the Best Buy I was working 20yrs ago. It was right about when the Passion came out. He was just casually shopping and some coworkers mentioned that he was in the store. I had to go say hello. I remember him saying something like “walk with me” and he walked over to his wife and he introduced me to her. I just told him my girlfriend and I are fans of his movies. I'm reminded lately the power in agreeing on essentials, not seeking division. God knows the heart and we don't know it like He does. It doesn't mean we have to attend a church we think has wrong doctrine, but you and I wouldn't check a fire fighter's faith or denomination or a responding police officer in an emergency, or a surgeon, before accepting that they're doing good work. Right? Besides, God makes the same promise to everyone: "Seek me and when you seek me with your whole heart you will find me." I would say if these gentlemen haven't find the Lord and accepted the gospel, they're clearly well on their way and God is absolutely using them today.

There is absolutely zero truth to that statement, especially when the aforementioned church firmly and explicitly teaches there is no other way or means that a man may be saved except through the Savior Jesus Christ. Whatever you heard, however you formed that idea, however you came to that conclusion, it's simply not true.
