TY Drummerworld for making a Recorded permanent (hopefully) Document of the Real deal, who was taught BY Moeller. There are SOoo many "so-called" teachers attempting to Teach something they're not Qualified to teach. (And I might add, just confusing students) Jim is the Authentic, the go-to! THX Soo much for Posting All Three Parts!

My teacher taught me this and it made all the difference years ago. We spent the first half of the lesson on a practice pad to warm up and it works beautifully. It turned me into a professional. Great presentation that will help everybody.

I’m a guitar player in the early stages of learning drums, and this method is something I want to work on.

@@progjazz77 It works. Slowly practice at first and then it speeds up naturally. I do it every time I sit at the drums to warm up.

I met Jim in 1994/5. What a lovely man. Known for the Moeller technique, but boy could he play.

I wish drumming educators would introduce the moeller way ealier than they do. I am at a modern grade 3 and this method pretty much means i have to start over now from the start. I can see the benefits though. 3 strokes worth out of one strokes worth of motion.
