There are two Valentines-style holidays in Korea. February 14th is still V-Day, but it's the women who give candies and various gifts to their husbands and boyfriends. March 14th is called White Day; it's the men who give the gifts. There's a special day for singles, too: April 14th is called Black Day, and single people go out and eat noodles with a black-bean sauce (a Chinese dish, which is pretty good). I used to get tons of candy on those days when I was a teacher there.

I know this podcast is several months old and this question would probably get ignored, but did the Rock N' Roll Express ever actually use the double-dropkick to finish a major match? I can't recall one that I saw. They used it in the enhancement matches all the time, but it seems like it was always a sunset flip, school boy roll-up or something like that for the finish in most major matches.

Here's the thing. How many people here were kids during the attitude era and loved the hell out of wrestling? Now how many of you kids did these wrestling moves a hundred times with your brothers and friends? I guarantee just about all of you, the moves might knock the wind out of you a bit or send you loopy but as long as you know how to take it it's ok. We all did it - you simply cannot convince us this crap hurts unless someone made a mistake.

A long time ago the WWF/WWE began the "Move of the Night" scheme, where every darn match had the same finisher, or standard move, as though everyone had been practicing it the day of the show. Every match had either a SuperKick, a badlty executed PileDriver, an Avalanche, or a double clothesline takedown and referee count out. That's what REALLY broke kayfabe. Stupid, copycat, booking by talentless bookers and writers. It's what led me AWAY from Pro-WRUSSlin', as VKM calls it. That killed squash match credibility, killed the ability to build a story through the show, and left all the talent at the mercy of men who did not either understand the business (cough cough Vince Russa), or disrespected the fans and talents in the way that only demonstrates ignorance of basic psychology and performance hierarchy (cough cough Vince Russo). Unfortunately, this was also a specific considered tactic VKM was employing against his top talents to keep them under control. Once everyone was "stealing" the top guys' moves, they became replaceable . . . or, at least, he could convince them that they were at HIS mercy, not the other way around. Warrior was uncontrollable (i.s.: a shrewd negotiator unafraid to use pressure tactics against his boss), as were Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart, at one time or another. "I refuse to lose the belt to--" is something NO employee should tell the man signing his paycheck. Of COURSE you don't want the big money to stop rolling in . . . but Wrestling is all about turnover, re-invention, and counting on short fan memory to change rosters without so much shake-up of talent. You aren't an entity, yourself. You are an employee of a 12 year old mind in a bodybuilder's body; a man with a wonderful sense of revenge, and heaping helpings of degradation, objectification, and humiliation, in his character. A tyrant, in other words. Nobody tells a tyrant what to do. You either obey, or something bad will happen to you. So, when your employer tells you "you're going to lose the belt to Spike Dudley tonight" you go out and do your effing job. Or he books you into a match with an enforcer, like Ryback was until he got notions of equity in his head. "I want you to hurt Punk" is likely what the "Big Man" heard before he went out that night. Another incident was the Bret Hart/Goldberg affair. Career ending injuries inflicted on major performers by relative idiots. That smacks of conspiracy to commit. Naturally, this is my personal opinion and, as we all know: "Opinions are like farts; everyone's stink . . . except mine."

The funny thing about Hogan is that he had some legitimate wrestling moves in his repertoire that he only used in Japan. That’s something I never understood. He could wrestle (a little) but instead chose to just throw punches, the occasional body slam and then the joke of a finisher ... the big leg drop.

@keller blair greed has been behind every major atrocity of the last 1000yrs, religion has only ever been a cloak to hide that greed.
