That he agreed with Punk that sometimes you’ve got to throw hands and then make money in the business, that he didn’t agree with how the bucks and others handled things, that he doesn’t like the tribalism and that he really rates Roman Reigns and wishes that AEW had given him a similar presentation and so on Jim Cornette pretty much did a 180 and was like “oh, so he’s not a complete dumbass like I thought he was”. I guess his opinions are based off the brief interactions he had at ROH, videos of him wrestling sex dolls and children and his association with The Young Bucks - which I can understand why he wouldn’t like him based off of all of that! However now he’s heard him talk candidly on twitch about things he’s kinda realising he’s not as bad as he once thought

I believe he said something back when she first started doing the unique introductions. Because it was very different. I happen to love it. But it was it took a little bit to get used to. I’m also a big listener to Jim Cornett, but there are some things I disagreed with. That’s you and I being regular people my man. I don’t understand the bizarre fan bases out there that blindly follow stuff that they’re fans of and defend it regardless.

For me, someone who stopped watching wrestling around 2008 and coming back 2022, I like Samantha Irvin’s announcing style. Her style reminds me of the lady(forget her name) who did the fighter announcements for Pride FC, which always pumped me up more than Buffer for UFC.

I listen to Jim every day and I don't recall him saying he doesn't like her. He did say 'she tried' or 'she's trying', which isn't much but considering how Jim normally doesn't like female announcers, this is pretty much a compliment. However, just 2 hrs ago, he uploaded a clip where he praised her and said he's a Samantha fan.

Personally, I just prefer announcers who aren't too loud and only really shout the Wrestlers names. I feel like she makes EVERYTHING she says UPPER CASE which can kinda get annoying. Otherwise, she's alright.

My personal opinion when it comes to Wrestling is that everyone should have a personality. Wrestlers, Announcers, Commentators, Referees, even the backstage workers setting up the show. Everyone ends up on camera at some point and personality only makes the show better.
