When the Bobby Eaton episode dropped, I made a mention that my mother had passed away on Monday August 2nd. I was very heart broken and the last words we said to each other before my mom went to the hospital was "I Love You". Rest in Paradise to those who we lost in 2021 and they'll still be in our hearts.

I originally clicked on the RIP Bobby video without reading what it was, and I just thought that Jim was talking about Bobby and I'm always keen to hear that. I'm a cynical, cold-hearted, jaded old man, but hearing Jim's tone near as damn it broke my heart. I'm glad that Jim is still casting, but would anyone have blamed him had he taken a long hiatus or packed it in alltogether?

I was wondering if this would come up. We lost not only a lot of great wrestlers, but a lot of great celebs and personalities in general. The Bobby Eaton segment was pretty difficult to listen to the first time around cause you can tell Jim's pretty choked up. But I'm glad overall he takes a 'chinese funeral' approach to the whole thing and celebrates their life more than mourn their deaths. The memories will live on long after the flesh has given up on this world.

I could listen to Jim reminisce on JCP for hours. It was that era… not the cartoonish Hulkamania years, or the Attitude era and Monday Night Wars, or the heyday of ECW (which was literally just a more R rated homage to the style of JCP and the Mid-Atlantic and Mid-South territories - whether Paul E wants to admit it or not), that was the best and most entertaining years of the business. It’s just a shame that Jim Jr went under. That caused so many people to give up on everything and stop watching altogether. In the end, I just hope I somehow live to see Vince sell the business. Watching him go out of business or witnessing the new buyer do the same thing that TBS and Turner did to JCP would be much better, but WWE’s current profit margin makes that just wishful thinking. But witnessing the new owner pillage WWE of anything business related it has left would be fantastic. I tried to sit through an episode of Raw (for the first time in forever) over the holidays with my 7 and 9yo nephews and their father, and I barely made it an hour before calling it a night. All I could think of afterwards was that I’ve never been so happy to be “old” and “out of touch” in my life. So I’ll just keep listening to Corny and Brian reminisce on when things were actually good, and whomever wants today’s horseshit can certainly have it. 👴🏼

Yes he did.....this was just put up, I highly doubt you've listened to all six hours yet. I listened to the original show that he mentioned her passing on and also, Travis would not include her in the artwork if she were not mentioned.

Funny hearing Jim talk so bad about Trump, yet singing the praises of Bert Prentice who was notorious for taking advantage of upcoming wrestlers who worked for him. I am pretty sure Jim has to be aware of it too, but I guess that is ok

I wonder that if when a wrestler passes away that they send the body to Triple H since he is so good at burying people?

@@maxxdahl6062 The news/media and worldwide totalitarian government response wants you to believe, for 2 damn years now, that people are dying left and right from a “totally natural and organic and real killer virus.” Look at the sh*tshow everything’s become, all over the story of a “killer virus.” Do you wanna know all the ways it’s (whatever “covid,” now “omicron,” even is and where it comes from) not even 1/10th as bad as they say, and that it’s clearly all a PLAN_demic meant to act as just another means to an end in their overall sick script against humanity? Here’s just 2 out of a million examples: the entire country of India, and celebrities/famous people. If this “killer virus” was as bad as they say, then India (given it’s conditions, poverty, dirtiness, massive overcrowding, etc) would have been decimated with sickness and death (it hasn’t been at all)… and we’d have more examples of celebrities dying than we do. That’s just 2 examples. Want a few hundred more?
