First, the cops have to believe the victim to investigate it, the test kits are backlogged for decades, and a lot of times the victim get harassed and questioned by the police to the point where they get investigated or forced to drop the charges. That’s just with regular, everyday men who are accused. We’re talking about a billionaire and a millionaire being accused by a single woman. Takes a benevolent viewpoint of the criminal justice system to believe that pressing charges is more viable than seeking damages via a civil trial.
