Helping the Ukrainians doesn’t mean we’re the global police force. Nor are we sticking our noses in anyone’s business (especially with the Ukrainians asking for our help anyway). Secondly if the fight escalates NATO will further get involved and by extension the U.S. which is apart of NATO will get involved. As there’s no guarantee Russia will stop at Ukraine.
