During the late 70's the Soviet hockey team was touring North America playing the U.S. and Canadian W.H.A. teams. While In San Diego to play the Mariners they skated off the ice threatening to cancel the game due to the chicken. At that time he was sponsored by local radio station KGB and had KGB written in large letters on the front of his chicken suit. He started jumping up and down directly behind the goalie and the Russians thought their Secret Police were being ridiculed. Everything had to be explained to them in order for the game to begin. It was hilarious!

For Cornett to say this about Hart, considering the greatness of Cornett in said roll is amazing. Honestly, this interview shows how great Cornett really is. 💜 And I’m a middle aged lady that thinks all this is greatness. Why did we ever need soap operas? This was so much better.

Nowadays, if They Were to Try That San Diego Chicken Type of Deal in Memphis/Tennessee, They'd Not Need to Have to "Outsource" for a Mascot of Note ... They'd Choose from Their Local Pro or College Team for One ... * Gnash (Predators) * T-Rac (Titans) * Grizz (Grizzlies) * Pouncer (Tigers) * Smokey (Volunteers) * Etc.

That high pitched yeah baby.....lol. The megaphone gimmick. I really enjoyed Jimmy in WW(F)E but he was very cool when he opened up about being on the road and getting that phone call that his daughter had died. This was mentioned on Legends House and his whole contribution to the business is incredible. He worked on music and vignettes as well as cutting promos and working ringside and traveling all over. Without Jimmy Hart there would have been a huge hole to fill. When I think of managers I think of Bobby, Corny and Jimmy. You can have Gary Hart, Brother Love, or Skandor Akbar who were all great in their own ways. For me the Mount Rushmore of wrestling managers would include these three. Anyone got a suggestion on the 4th? JJ Dillon? Classy Freddie Blassie, Captain Lou? Anyone wanna reply to their top 4 managers of all time?

Jimmy Hart in WWF was funny. Jimmy Hart in WWF was funny and sadistic. That was the difference. For example, the time when Jimmy mentioned that one of Gibson's parents was deaf so Jimmy was "joking" on a promo about breaking Ricky's fingers so he couldn't do sign language. WHAT THE HELL! Who even thinks like that? That Jimmy did not go north. That Jimmy had the greatest five year heel run for a manager I've ever seen. For those who defend Paul Jones as a manager saying look what he had to work with....look what flotsam and jetsam Jimmy was working with and getting over in 1980. He saved Memphis when Lawler broke his leg.

Henry Burris just that the cartoonish Jimmy Hart worked better in the cartoonish WWF. That’s a lot like “baby face” Hogan. Works great in WWF but was insulting to a lot of old school NWA/WCW fans. I love the Undertaker but I don’t think the zombie version of Undertaker wouldn’t work as well in WCW but is perfect for WWF.

Jimmy mentioned that Bischoff purposely cut his legs out from under him, making him dress in black, taking away his megaphone and not letting him talk. Basically Bischoff wanted to kiss Hogan's ass and he tried to get rid of Hogan's closest ally Jimmy.
