The New Midnight Express was a terrible idea, but I think Bob and Bart could have gotten over in that era as a team of big, tough, no-nonsense guys who come out and just beat the shit out of people. But then again, that's pretty much the same gimmick as the APA.

Cornette wrong. New Midnight Express debuted before Wrestlemania 14 he saying they appeared night after. I know this cause they wrestled in 15 team battle Royal and were last team thrown out by LOD.

That first Severn/Shamrock fight was brutal. Severn laid on top of Shamrock for like 37 minutes and he won the most boring decision in history.

A lot of people didn't like the Holly vs Lesnar match at the Rumble, but, I thought it got the point over as Holly came back to try to get revenge against Lesnar, but again, it went nowhere afterwards. They should've kept with it for a while longer.

On a episode I came across,Shit Stain said that it was Cornette that pitched the New Midnight Express to Vince and that Vince said "Ok pal we'll put that out there so it can just fall flat on it's back" that's according to Shit Stain Russo

1.Did Jim mention Unforgiven, and then say that KOTR was Holly/Gunn's only PPV appearance? 2. And what about WM 14? 3. After that Brawl For All fight, Holly and Gunn kept teaming until they dropped the belts in August. There's an episode of, I think it was, Shotgun Saturday Night or Heat, where Cornette is doing commentary, and the Midnight Express come out to wrestle, and they insult Cornette at ringside.

Bob Holly and Bart Gunn were good wrestlers and they coulda/woulda/shoulda been a great tag team together, they just should've been their own team instead of the "New Midnight Express", and yeah they never should've been put against each other in the Brawl. And Dan Severn should have been used like Brock Lesnar, the monster who only wrestles on occasion

Jim Cornette and Dan Severn could have been Paul Hayman and Brock Lesnar before Hayman and Lesnar was even a thing. Jim could talk just as good as Hayman and Severn was as legit as they came. I think WWF dropped the ball on that one.

Really close behind the Steiners, The Midnight Express were my favorite tag team, mainly because of "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton. So it really pissed me off, at the time, when the WWE tried to push Holly & Gunn as the NME!
