This was a massive middle finger to Punk and it was orchestrated by Jericho and the Elite. If anyone thinks this was anything more than that they are disillusioned. It also helps the BloatGod and Colt nearly killed each other in a sloppy ass match. The only sad part is that Danielson and Claudio are still stuck in this pointless feud.

I haven't heard this het, but before I do I just want to point out that a few days ago, Brian Last ask Jim Cornette "Do you think Jericho's mystery opponent will be Colt Cabana?" As soon as he came out last week I was waiting for them to cover this.

It was clear they did that to give a middle finger to Punk under the guise of giving Colt Cobana camera time. There is no way Jerichud will ever match or surpass his draw power. AEW is effectively done for me unless something must see happens.

Jericho is now doing the EXACT same thing that Hogan in ‘96 was doing - Hogging the spotlight and making the company revolve around him. I’m a fan of CM Punk and the way he always calls out what he perceives to be BS, this just tells me that we who want to watch some actual wrestling on our TV’s are no longer welcome. When Cabanas music hit I groaned and realised that after all the faith I put into AEW, I finally realised that this is what we are left with - the playground of Jericho.
