He was going to be world champion for as long as he was in that company off and on what I found profoundly about this whole entire story is that if Hogan really wanted to make somebody he could have made either Jeff Jarrett or Booker T.

As it was happening, Sunny Ono filed a lawsuit and seemingly overnight, Stevie Ray was a commentator and Booker T was about to become Champion. It didn’t have nearly as much to do with Russo as Russo claims. Jarrett was Russo’s guy. And Jarrett had no business having the belt in the first place. Hogan did pull his trump card, but he lied for years about it being the first time he did it (Hogan is the biggest liar. Russo is just the most delusional and Bischoff is the typical BS business man who starts to believe his own BS), though he did do more good than Cornette will ever give him credit for.
