I don't get how people hate Okada. The hate is because he is in AEW and he's trying something with his heel gimmick! He's being funny while also being an Elite Jackass! Wrestling can have comedic relief Corny!

It is amazing how many PPVs the Elite have spent in random tag matches. It isn't that they have moved away from the main event, it's just that since Tony has to get every angle onto the show, people go from headlining one month to 'storage' the next. Every program has extra matches in it.

My generation in Japan grew up with Tanahashi, Okada and to some extend Nakamura being the guys to watch, I always tell my friends from other countries that Tanahashi was basically our "Cena at home", it's sad to see what's become of them, but specially Okada, I guess the "running joke" for the past decade was true, and all he wanted was to make more money than his wife.

I think with Okada, he is only as good or bad as he is booked and presented as. Which is different than someone who can get over no matter how badly they are booked and presented as or someone who can't get over no matter how well they are booked and presented as. Good or bad. Bad in this case. Okada seem like he just kind of goes with whatever people tell him.
