I'm still waiting also. I don't mind them talking about the WWE since it is starting to get a little bit interesting. I have zero desire to listen to AEW. I miss the days where a lot of the questions were about the territories. Now it seems like most of the questions are what Jim thinks about somebody saying this or that or somebody doing something stupid.

Always love The Classic Deep Dives! I have listened to all the ones i have found so far! But i gotta say every time i hear the Memphis stuff i think of two things: 1. A VHS tape my best friend had in the 80's when we were kids 1987s Rock & Roll Wrestling produced by Rhino it had Jerry " The King" Lawler, "Exotic" Adrian Street, Bruiser Brody, The Rock & Roll Express, The Fabulous Ones, Big Joe Leduc, Randy " Macho Man" Savage, The Moondogs, Kamala "the Ugandan Giant", and more. Like a makeshift type music video set with wrestlers highlights the visuals and rock music played over it. And B. I always remember the "Superstar" Bill Dundee highlight reel from CWF from Montgomery AL late 80's early 90's with Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen playing over it.

Spring of 1984 nearing the end of my freshman year of high school we had a spot show in my hometown of Mt Carmel Illinois (about 40 miles north of Evansville IN) in our high school gym. Austin Idol defended the International Title against Randy Savage. Also on the card was the Zambuie Express, Koko Ware, Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, and several others. The thing I’ll always remember is before the show I got to meet Randy Savage one on one and he was cool as hell even though he was working heel. He didn’t break kayfabe but he turned it down a notch while we talked. Idol was a prick that didn’t give any of us the time of day.
