Well sure, except this is an invited audience of friends, tape traders and journalists shooting the shit with JC after coming in for Fanweek. Brian Last talks about how those guys all went to SMW shows in Knoxville and felt like because they knew it was a work, they had a responsibility to protect the business too. That's a BIG difference between how things were then and how they are now.

@ErrorlVlacro No its a fact, Last used to travel to see SMW when he was a teen and that's when him and Jim got to know each other. High probability he's one of the fans in this vid

@@ErrorlVlacro yes he is, reallly The references aren’t there anymore in the current show, but If you listen to the first year of the podcast, Cornette makes a few references to SMW and Brian’s involvement back then as a fan going to fan meets and their big shows. Brian Last isn’t some nerd kid that was plucked from obscurity to do a podcast, his relationship with Jim Cornette goes back decades. Last also worked in the wrestling industry briefly as a TV announcer calling matches for the NWA in the late 90’s.
