Well Jim has put a smile on our faces for over 40 odd years and done a fantastic job entertaining our forces and help the hero's charity for our veterans Why Jim not been knighted is beyond me after Lenny Henry who not even close to Jim's talent was knighted Jim you are a credit to your profession and the British public Good luck with your continued success on your show tour in the Uk

Knighted ? for services to sexism, Tories, racism, self promotion and the easily amused. When other comics moved on from the Manning tradition he couldn't , I'm sure he would go down a storm with those nostalgic for the above or at the Tory party conference.

only been married once on the 28 Jan 2011 and widowed on the 3 march 2011 but I spent 11 years with that wife and loved every second of it she also loved fishing and I am sure Jim would have liked her as well

Saw many comics of that era live, ,he is far from the best ,he told old jokes and his cheeky cockney boy persona soon wore thin , Billy Connolly , Mick Miller ,Mike Reid, Freddie Starr all better than him.
