EQ-smoove ...wasn't able to buy 'em for lack of spending money, but we'd borrow'em off our schoolmates whose parents were more liberal-minded, or moneyed, or just not paying attention. But do you remember that there was a lot of good clean fun from the National Lampoon Radio Hour, and the Firesign Theater, and Second City...? Heck of an era for comedy!

I spent a month in Naples Fl one March. All the churches of all denominations were packed! Old people getting right with God! Restaurants opened at 3:00 and closed by 8:00 p.m. Restaurants were packed!

WhattaDay Yes you're right, I looked him up afterwards (which of course I should have done before). So that means the comedian was wrong to refer to him as a saint, and I was wrong to shoot my mouth off and assume he'd been canonized. And OP was wrong to refer to him as a saint.

the litany of saints. just got two new names too. the best part is, the two Miracles John Paul gets credit for, are two people who recovered from illnesses by praying to John Paul AFTER HE DIED ! So the Ghost of John Paul performed two miracles, now he's a saint. Catholicism is wonderful, its like being a kid again, let play pretend !

I was born into the Catholic Church system and grew up in Catholic schools through no choice of my own, but i'm happy to report that i have made a full recovery and there don't seem to be any side effects. I am now 67 yrs old and have had no relapses. Thinking is indeed the way to become a rational and productive member of society.. P.S . This goes for all religions on earth.. Have a nice day and stay healthy my friends.

Wasn't that a vinyl album? (I looked it up, and Amazon does indeed offer a vinyl version of Cinco!). Does no one else find it odd that Colbert/Gaffigan didn't even touch on the fact that it was vinyl, which most people can't even play anymore? My last turntable was destroyed in the '94 LA earthquake, and I can honestly say I've never seriously considered replacing it.

OMG including the commentary on the album is AMAZING! That's exactly the reason I'd buy it!!!! The stand up special was absolutely HILARIOUS....I still think Beyond The Pale was his best. But that's probably because that was the first I became aware of his genius LOL. I love love love him!!! Him and Brian Regan are the funniest 'clean' comics of ALL TIME!

George was the greatest comedian. His observational style and ability to point out our absurdities was second to none. I thought of him while reading these whiny comments about comedians dumping on Trump. Comedians have done this for years and Carlin had a great bit about Reagan and all the criminals in his administration. Just seems like people are so overly-sensitive anymore about their views. If someone has a different view, we want to boycott them. It seems so childish. I miss George.

Stephen has Bible and Tolkien trivia on lock!!! He really seems to gravitate towards fantasy and philosophy. I love his political and late night stuff, but I hope he gets to do a true comedy show again. His voice acting is amazing. Also, his improv and sketch comedy writing is original and refreshing. Even a Kevin Smith style show or a Joe Rogan style podcast would be be awesome.

😂lol both parents were Catholics until they both started bible study with the Jw’s and then they taught the children- so as a grown man I started bible study with the Jw’s an it’s the best decision I ever made 🎉!!!
