Wery nice ans "happy" to hear Allen Shelton on banjo and (his favorite instrument) the dobro-banjo during this concert. Nice guy and friend of mine since Frankfurt/Germany in the backstage room during two hours...JO (France)

Lots of surprises within this wonderful concert: Lara's theme, two known songs from John Fogerty's interpretations and finally a classic rock n roll. Magnificent.

This is 1987, not 1989. Jimmy Campbell started with them in 1987, and by 1989, Vic Jordan would’ve been playing banjo. Also, by 1989, Keith would’ve had the bass on a stand due to his MS.

Thanks for posting this video! Jim and jesse mcreynolds are bluegrass legends. Thankfully, jesse mcreynolds is still a living legend. If you have any information about jesse mcreynolds mandolin style and tuning, I would really appreciate the information. I am an experienced guitarist, and have recently took up the mandolin. I would really love to learn the mcreynolds mandolin tuning and style. Jesse mcreynolds is one of my favorite mandolin stylists!

read this fast, it will be deleted fast (along with your comment)...Jesse's "tuning" is done with his left pinky-fingernail on ONE of the A or D strings, while another finger plays a lower note...this is nearly impossible to do without muting other strings...
