As part of our #Surrey50 anniversary celebrations, University of Surrey Physics Professor and BBC Radio 4’s The Life Scientific presenter Jim Al-Khalili meets special guest Brian Blessed. Now a Surrey resident, Brian is well known locally for his patronage of the Guildford Shakespeare Company and is one of the country’s best known, most highly respected and loved actors. Normally people who try to control interviews like this get very annoying after a short time. (Peter Kay springs to mind). But Brian Blessed is just delightful. You could listen to him talk all day. Amazing character.
