I'm adopted! Well twice actually. My birth mom was 16 when she had me and a year later she had my half-brother. She did what was best for us and put us up for adoption. I was three and my brother was around 2 when we were adopted for the first time. That didn't last long and when I was 11 (my brother was 10) we were put back into Foster care. When I was 13 I was adopted for the second time. My brother was adopted when he was 14 but with a different family. I've always wanted to find my birth mom and meet her and build a relationship with her. Last week my adoptive mom found her and it turns out that I look allot like her. I am so happy that my adoptive mom took the time to find her (she had been searching for 3 years!) and the sacrafice that's she's making. Next week we're going to meet her and my other siblings. I love that you guys are thinking about adopting. You don't know how much that means to the child that gets adopted (especially the older ones since the adoptive rate is allot lower compared to the younger children). You guys really blessed my day when you said that (even though I'm late to this video)

I was in foster care for a little bit so adoption is close to my heart. My husband isn't to into it so I don't know if it'll happen. I have a son and I'm pregnant again and I always said two kids was my max. But I think it's so amazing you want to adopt =] if the situation ever presented itself for me I'd want to look more into it
