Thank you for another fast surprise with part3. In the eyes of nonKoreans we tend to affix our known values on relationships. Yes, totally agree Bang PD said that they all have to resolve it no matter how embarassing it is for the members involved. Here even V, Jimin's best friend seemed unawares of what went on with JiKook during those times.

totally agree with your comment i think that was push and pull phase in their relationship when this specific incident happened.I always knew that I stan or support a real couple without knowing the actual meaning of whatever they say or do. but even after confirming all this from a native speaker there are some idiots who will still deny it. love between these two is so obvious how can people not see it and worse call it pretending or scripted🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️.

I agree with you 100% and that was my exact thinking when I heard this story. They have been together for so long was my exact thought. I think my suspicion of 2015-2016 is spot on. What's interesting is the members envolvement. You have Yoongi, Jin, and RM who have no clue as to what happened. However the most interesting thing was Tae's and Hobi's reaction. Hobi just like the first clip in the video knows things including this. Jimin probably told him. He can't control his facial expressions and that's hilarious. On the other hand, V has the ultimate poker face if he knows something and is trying to keep it a secret. He overcompensates with the ultimate poker face which does the opposite and now I look for it when I think he's trying to hide something from us.

I also believe that Hobi being Jimin's roomie knows the most about Jikook as I bet Jimin often discussed his emotions to Hobi.

As an avid Jikooker, I like to think he had Jimin in mind, but that is not what JK himself said. It was during FESTA, I'd have to go back and find the reference.

@@merce10554 I'm taking a guess here its either from the 5th Muster Mini Photoshoot in Seoul: Magic Shop or the Memories DVD because of the shirt Jimin is wearing was the same shirt he wore in the Magic Shop VCR but the hair colour is different when they were at Osaka so it suits the time at Seoul... Like we can't find the original full video but only snippet of this clip at other channels but it was certainly a photoshoot... 😅

Oh, I can answer that! Euna also already talked about that. If we think about the honorifics at general, Jungkook is very respectful about it, mainly with the hyung line, I can literally count on my fingers the amount of times I've seen him call Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi or Hobi without honorifics. We're talking about 10 years together, and it was on very specific situations (for example Run episode 15, when he is going to challenge Namjoon in a game, he does a challenge pose and call "Kim Namjoon"). He only drops the honorifics when it's on purpose, if he's on authomatic mode, he always uses them. With Tae he drops the honorifics a little bit more, as he's closer to his age, but it's still rare. He drops waaay more with Jimin, and the problem is not only about not using the "hyung", but exactly the other ways he calls him. The "ssi" is supposed to be a very respectful honorific, but he obviously uses it on purpose to tease Jimin, and I love how Jimin teases back or just can't stop laughing. It's even worst when he drops the honorifics naturally, like a slip of tongue, because as I said, in his authomatic mode, in a natural way, he would always add it, but with Jimin, his authomatic mode seems to be the opposite. Now, I'll just paste what Euna says about it: "I feel like just in general we lose it anytime Jungkook addresses Jimin without honorifics. Anytime he calls him "Jimin" (or god forbid, Jiminie) we eat that shit up, especially if in context it sounds like a natural slip of the tongue more than a purposeful teasing jab. Culturally, you drop honorifics between people of different ages when you: 1) Make a conscious decision to think of each other as same age friends (i.e what ITS revealed almost happened between maknae line) 2) Are related by blood 3) Are romantically involved (and even here most couples use a mix of honorifics and plain speech even after marriage). Since we know from the documentary and other instances that Jimin places great importance on honorifics and respecting hierarchy, the little passing moments where he seems to allow Jungkook to flout this line with him might stand out more as evidence of their close bond." As Euna said, if you make a conscious decision between your friends of thinking of each other as same age, then you could possibly drop the honorifics without worries. The thing is, Jimin cares about honorifics, Jimin likes that Jungkook is his dongsaeng, and there were times where he called out Jungkook for not using them, so between the two of them probably this agreement didn't happen. But then, Jungkook drops way too much the honorifics with him to be a "sometimes" thing, like with the other members, and he does it naturally, what also doesn't happen with the others, so yeah, there's not a lot of explanations left. About "Jimin-ssi", Euna said: "I love it when Jungkook calls Jimin "Jimin-ssi" because from him, it sounds so much like an endearment. The tone he uses with Jimin is drastically different from the tone other members use when they attach the -ssi suffix to each others names. Normally adding -ssi is just another way to indicate respect and maybe a bit of figurative personal distance from the speaker towards the addressee, but it’s notable when Jungkook uses it with Jimin because the way he says it feels almost like…. the opposite lol (kinda like saying “yes sir” when your friend asks you to do something for them but if that “sir” was more, idk, charged)."
