Jimin explained that this album was made based on how he felt throughout the pandemic. This song talks about how he felt when he was drifting away from his friends and just distancing himself from everyone. He said he used to drink all the time and get drunk and he used not just sit at homie always in his head wondering what the hell is he doing with his life because he couldn't perform anymore and that really broke him, like it seriously broke him. This song was inspired by a movie he watched that is also called "like crazy". He said that he was expecting the typical romance movie but he was amazed when the plot showed what a real breakup/long distance relationship felt like and that's how he felt with his friends and family

the girl was kinda confirmed to be jimin's reflection! the song it's actually so much deeper than a ''sexy'' one. it's about the pandemic, feeling lost and just doing the same things (drinking, partying when it got better etc) over and over again.

Esosa's breakdowns in every video are just *chef kiss* because honestly, we've all been there. Addressing the song, Jimin said in... I wanna say Rolling Stone but I could be absolutely wrong, that Like Crazy was about running away from reality. In Yoongi's show Suchwita, he went into detail and said that it came from the early days of the pandemic, when he thought he was handling it and everything was fine, except he was actually getting drunk to cope. It wasn't until their shows in Las Vegas that he was able to get himself out of that mindset.

I missed this Jimin so much!!!! The art in everything he does is mind blowing! Long overdue! So happy for him 😭

3 things, 1) yes this song is amazing and is exactly what was expected from Jimin yet so not what we expected 2) you will end up with a bias, or 2, then the other members will come for you, brace yourself, 3) Cancel culture is a thing but real ARMYs are here to support and enjoy your process of learning about BTS. Give no attention to the negativity. It deserves no energy from you. We all learn better from positive talk and kind corrections when appropriate.

Thank you for addressing those kind of uncivil comments. It amazes me that people who say they stan BTS think that being hateful is okay. BTS are so filled with love and acceptance, and bring people together when so many things divide us. And that is reflected by ARMY as a whole. Jimin became my bias wrecker, I was insane over JK for 2 weeks until I saw Jimin perform "Lie" live and that was it since then I'm hooked. There's no turning back. Jimin is the only artist that can incorporate modern dance, contemporary dance, hip hop, etc & not to mention his unique, elegant voice. His head voice and chest voice, the low town and high tone they hit like crazy. I really admire him for being versatile.

The thing BTS are really good at is making very dark and introspective lyrics into danceable catchy music. The lyrics actually are contradicting the images of the fun - this is Jimin disassociating and trying to run away from the pain. This is such a relateable experience. But I LOVE this song and its vibe, it does make me want to dance lol

i’ve been a fan of bts since early 2018 and let me tell you, i stopped calling myself an army or even interacting with the fandom bc some people are so toxic and sadly those are the ones that are the loudest and represent armys the most, it’s really sad that such a safe space is constantly being destroyed and the only to keep enjoying bts’ content is by staying out of the fandom the most and just have a few friends but that’s it. Fun fact the song Like Crazy is also inspired by the Movie Like Crazy (the voices at the start and end of the song are dialogues of it) What Jimin said about the movie: I thought it would be very romantic and sweet, but it turned out that it's actually a very realistic and stark depiction of a breakup.

I understand how ozlem was feeling like this is very Jimin and we expected something like this from Jimin but this was BEYOND our expectations if that makes sense cause we kinda had no idea what we were getting from Jimin as this is his 1st Solo so we were anticapating his ALBUM cause we were FINALLY gonna see Jimin as Jimin and not Jimin as BTS so we expected something like this but it was also BEYOND our expectations i LOVE you GIRLS!!!

So about the meaning of the song, Jimin said that it is about when you want to escape reality when you’re hurting and the whole album in general is about his feelings during the pandemic. But there is a theory of a hidden meaning, which I really think could be possible, that this song is about embracing his femininity inside of him and letting go of the thought that he has to act masculine all the time as expected of him. That would explain the female person which is supposed to be his reflection, bcs notice the hand that’s grabbing him in the beginning has that leather jacket on that that girl has, and after the scene where they walk towards each other, it cuts into him talking/singing to his reflection in the mirror. Also the voices in the beginning, the female voice is telling the male one to trust her and after the party/dream is over and he is all alone again, the male voice is saying “but what’s the point” as if still unsure of embracing his feminine side because of the fear of public opinion. Ofc it’s all speculation but it would make a lot of sense, and as we know the kpop industry, he couldn’t talk about that second meaning openly anyway.

First, the song is phenomenal. Second, yeah I've been army for years and army are amazing in their support and love for BTS but I feel like comment sections are like magnets for people to be deliberately mean (and in other fandoms too). I always try to say things in a kind way if something needs said at all. I noticed that sometimes it's hard to find all the lovely comments behind some of the more red flag comments too. Something to do with people being more likely to comment or review when they're dissatisfied than when they're happy. It's the same even for online shopping. If you like what you got you might not bother to go back and give it a 5 star review, but if you hate it you're definitely going back to give it the 1 star.

Jimin literally said that he named it Part 2 because it feels like what happened after what Agust D/Suga went through in Set Me Free. Also, remember that some of the harsh “armies” aren’t actually Armies, they just like to make all of us look crazy. I have been embarrassed by many mean comments I have seen.
