Jimmer isn't doing well in the NBA because he can't be a true PG. He never has been a true PG, and in the NBA he's been forced to play that position instead of SG due to his size. He would do extremely well in a two-PG lineup (like Dragic and Bledsoe in PHX), like if he started alongside Jrue Holiday in his new team the Pelicans.

He began revolution of “deep range”. Players would from time to time shoot deep, but Jimmer really made it more popular. After that time, deep shots became more of a regular type of shot.

If you watch his whole game when he's in, I'm amazed at how he doesn't play 25+ every single night. He's a fantastic shooter, he can drive, finish at the rim, and draw the foul. He doesn't turn the ball over and is a generally smart player. If like to see what he could do with a team with another good guard by his side and good general leadership, maybe the Wolves with Rubio? That could work out really well for the whole team, especially with Love down low.
