The fun thing with the Trum (Drum) series was that is was ment to appeal to young musicians and children that want to start playing music. Like, no one understod what the hell was going on, parents wrote letters saying comlaining about the level of the exercises (really fast 7/16 rhythms and complex coordination stuff). The guy who interviewed Morgan really had no clue, hilarious :) Sandemose

The Mats Morgan disc/DVD set is out, and shipping to my house right now. However, I'm dying to get the Trum episodes somehow; I've heard they used to be on VHS, but are otherwise unavailable. Anyone know where I can get em? This tune rocks my world btw :)

Unfortunately, I'd also have to shell out for a VHS player :) I agree tho - the series is very technical. I'm lucky in that I can follow and play some of the stuff, but I can't imagine it being accessible for younger players. It certainly would be inspirational though... PS. I own half of the albums Morgan brought up as "suggested listening". Good to know I was on the right track!
