Probably one of the most underrated singer/ song writers ever. His music was the soundtrack of alot of our lives. Certainly one of the real troubadours at heart. R.I.P Jimmy. You've went home and finally found that lost shaker of salt

first heard Buffett in 1973 I was 23 and 50 years later I am still a follower. His song writing skills are so unique and he created his own genre of music,

“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”― Friedrich Nietzsche Fly away iconic Beatles, take another road out of town legendary vocalist Steve Perry and Journey, Jimmy Buffett, the chilled poetic, musical visionary may turn out to be the most popular singer/modern day Shakespearean lyrical storyteller in history. What an amazing "squawking Macaw hooman" virtuoso, soaring high over the human drama on the song lines of sublime tropical breezes and trade winds of love and compassion for all of humanity!!!! Rest in peace Jimmy, dear "endless summer" friend and musical confidant for over 30 yrs. Jimmy, the ultimate Hawaiian Big Kahuna, you rode the ultimate big blue Maverick surf wave in life.

I was 10 when this album came out. The first LP record I ever bought! Today, (2020) it's on CD. This song is still a fave because of that opening line; "years grow shorter, not longer..." Parrothead over 40 years, & will be to my last breath.

I’m starting to think you’re right! I just bought an old vinyl of Changes in Latitude and this one really stands out. The harmonica at the end is simply sublime…
