Jimmy is quite possibly in the top 3 best podcasts guests for the past 6 months to a year. Every time he's on a pod I'm so excited to watch it and not disappointed in the slightest. He treats every one of them like a little performance - he comes prepared, he says a few things that repeat and a few things that are specific to that pod and he's very genuine and wise. Absolutely love him.

@@xmathmanx he’s not equating death to actual shelter, but talking about losing the spirit of what makes a place a home and there is a safety one can find in other people that feels like the safety of “home.” I understood that and didn’t remotely think he was talking about actual homelessness and its different hardships. Watching the suffering and death of a loved one is a very devastating hardship and it’s often hard to put into words the experience of that trauma. I don’t like your comment of “see if that’s like your mother dying at all.” Your form of suffering isn’t superior to others’ suffering and that attitude prevents necessary empathy. More simply, if you want us to care about you, you have to care about others. But then again, this is KZfaq so chances are you’ve never been homeless but will be offended on their behalf.

It's scary to see Jimmy this close. I usually see him from a distance in British game shows. Which I love watching. It's great you guys talk about mental health. But you guys have a career in spite of it. Not everybody overcome their problems. It's so sad to look back at your life and realize: I never reached my potential. It was just one big struggle, also ruined by ill-functioning therapists. Thank god for EMDR. Fuck Freud. For me comedians are the new philosophers.

Sean was and is so huge for me comedically and Jimmy got to be right there for so many of my favorite TV moments. Aside from that I love that Jimmy doesn't shy away from the tough parts of his life.
