My first boyfriends father was in the Navy with President Carter. He had the photo hanging on his office wall and was so proud of that.

I really enjoyed watching this vlog. President Carter wasn't my favorite President but he's one of my favorite human beings. He does a lot of good in this world. He and his wife are truly special people that deserve to be praised. The museum looks very interesting and I enjoyed watching it very much. Thank you again Jordan

I just don't understand why President Carter chose to arrange the sofas in the Oval the way he did. It never made sense to me. President Carter was the first president I voted for, but my favorite will always be LBJ.

I LOVE JIMMY CARTER! He is the only one that I can think of that carried such integrity, honesty, compassion, and decency in the white house probably since FDR. Thank You Jordan for this AMAZING Vlog!! and how super cool that your mom's favorite band loved Jimmy too and that Jimmy loved the Almans!

This was a treat. Thank you for taking the time to cover part of President Carter's legacy. There were a few negative things during his presidency, which he has stated himself. There was so much more that he has done for us as a nation. I can't imagine a better or kinder man to emulate. This place is definitely on my bucket list.

Jimmy Carter visited my home town and I was able to shake his hand. I also remember touring the White House while he was president. Later, I attended an evening event at the same building where the museum is housed, but the museum was closed. Needless to say I was disappointed. I have always wanted to see the museum. You made my dreams come true. I enjoyed this vlog very much!

Jimmy Carter was one of the most decent men who ever occupied the White House. Unfortunately it was that decency and belief in the honesty, morality, and decency of his fellow man that made him such an ineffectual president. He needed his own "LBJ" to work with Congress to get anything done. (Of course those two personalities would never have been able to work together on anything else!) I've lived in the DC area since the early 60's and ended up working for the government for 30 years. One day Jimmy came to visit us and we were all given the opportunity to go out on the front lawn and maybe shake his hand. In all those years I had never had that opportunity with any other president, so I went outside early and stayed right by the rope in front. Well Jimmy made up for all the other presidents I had missed. He took both my hands in both of his and looked me straight in the eye and said "Thank you so much for coming out here today. I really appreciate it." I never doubted for a minute his sincerity.

I really enjoyed the tour of the library Jordan. I visited the Truman library years ago and I want to visit more. There is so much history tied to a US President. I was a child when Carter was President. I don't remember much about the time. I remember watching President Reagan being sworn in and watching it in school on a tv when I was in the first grade. Thanks for always vlogging a wide range of topics. I know that there are those that desire to attempt to dictate vlogging locations, but your choices are always educational, and entertaining. Thanks for your continued awesome work!

I was a little bit younger than you. I remember people struggling financially with the high cost of inflation and high gas prices due to the embargo. The hostage crisis and the lack of patriotism. I never thought that I would live long enough to see someone replace him as the worst president in My lifetime, but now Joe Biden passed him up

I remember jimmy carter being president he came to Kentucky once when I was young he came to Robards Ky in the eighties he was going to a bbq dinner at Russell Sights home on hwy 283 in Robards Ky I remember watching as his motorcade went down the street we were at a friends house on the same street . Here’s exert from the Henderson gleaner newspaper Carter's visit on July 21, 1980, was one of only two times Henderson has been visited by a sitting president. The first time was in late September 1948 when Harry Truman made a whistle-stop speech at Union Station. Carter's visit on July 21, 1980, was one of only two times Henderson has been visited by a sitting president. Sights and his wife Margaret also were Carter's hosts in 1980, when the president came to raise more than $200,000 for the national Democratic Party. They put on a $500-a-plate barbecue dinner at their home near Robards, which drew celebrities and the cream of Kentucky's Democratic politicians. Guests included Gov. John Y. Brown and former governors Earle C. Clements and Julian Carroll, U.S. Senators Wendell Ford and Walter "Dee" Huddleston, U.S. Reps. Carroll Hubbard and Carl Perkins, and Kentucky Supreme Court Chief Justice John Palmore.

Thanks, Jordan, for taking me to a Presidential library/museum. I've often wondered just how much would be on display, and I was quite surprised to see the "Oval Office" and how realistic it looked! A lot of work has gone into getting it all together, for sure. Thanks again.

I am so glad that when I was there in the 90s I meandered around the cemetery until I found Dwaynes' grave. So special. In those days very few resources to help you locate Graves. You do an awesome job on these vlogs. Been a viewer since you had 1000 subscribers. So awesome to follow your growth. I've always thought that Rosalyn was one of the prettiest first ladies.

He was the President when I was in HS. And Seems like he was a very loved President. In HS you don't pay too much to politics...I didn't anyway, but he's always done good things and I remember his brother with his beer cans...and that big smile...I admire him for always trying to bring people together now and being a humanitarian for habitat for humanity. Very giving couple. Ty for the wonderful blog!

I agree Jordan , Jimmy Carter and his wife have always been great humanitarians. I love this vlog !! My mother used to take care of a lady named Jessie Harris. The Harris family lived in and around Atlanta for several years ...then moved back to the Harris farm in Walton county in Ga. The Harris family was good friends with Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Carter. Ms. Harris used to play bridge with Mrs. Carter. Ms. Harris had pictures hanging in her hallway of her family with Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Carter. Ms. Harris and husband was having their huge house built in Walton county and while it was being built Mr. Harris passed away. So he never got to live in the " mansion on the hill " as we call it . Ms. Harris loved my mother though. My mother took care of her until she passed away a few years ago. Thank you for sharing this video Jordan and I love that your mother was with you too.

I Love your Mom's pink shirt!!! Glad that you loved H&H so much that you drove an hour and a half to go to Brunch. Sounds like something that I would do! When Carter came out of office, Amy was going into Highschool. She became a boarding student at Woodward Academy - where I was a day student. I was in Middle school - she is 5 years older than I am, but we would see her on campus. We had to wear uniforms, but immediately after school, Amy would change into flare jeans, clogs and a peasant blouse. You could tell it was her because she had dyed the very back of her hair (the underside) - black. I think that was her form of rebellion - it was kind of radical considering WA was a former military school with very strict guidelines. Jimmy, at 94, still teaches Sunday School in Plains and it is always open for people to attend. He did break his hip a few weeks ago and it was all over the News in South Georgia that he would be unable to teach Sunday School that week. Thanks, Jordan for the incredible vlogs from Georgia!!!!

ALso, (if you did this I missed it) will you be going to the Eisenhower Farm (right by Gettysburg)? It is well worth seeing. I had that poor park ranger all to myself and I asked that guy 5 million questions. Eisenhower spent his final years there and many heads of state came to see him. Very peaceful. Guitar Picks nice!! Jimmy Carter is a righteous man for his belief in civil rights and his work with " habitat for humanity" His wife Rosilyn too! Lol he agreed to read it Because he thought "war n peace" was bout cowboys n Indians! Well, reading Tolstoy is quite the undertaking for a 12 year old and very impressive to say the least. At that age most of us were just interested in reading comic books not classics!! Great vlog!
