Playing that in College right now and I love this version ! it's so clear and understandable, a bit slower than some other versions and somehow very tender. I especially love the melodic beginning of the guitar solo, might check up on trying to get my solo to be like that ^-^

I wonder if Ian Paice of Deep Purple was influenced by Cobb. I heard some similarities here, although they could obviously just derive from shared influences.

I dont think that the saxophon was needed to that very delicate kind of melody . But in his solo he was thinking like wes 👏. Nice comunication with the drumner by the way.
