As a former New Yorker, the NY fire and police are the finest in the world! My friend was a firefighter in 9/11 ...he was buried under the ruble for a few hours but he survived...Thank You God, but do many of his battalion and friends were not as fortunate. Thank you Jimmy for remembering our most bravest and best!!!

Lest we forget the brave souls of the fire service and police service who without a second thought took the ultimate sacrifice of their lives for the city and country they loved and may we never forget those brave souls.

I watched this this morning with a smile on my face, greatly appreciating your sentiments to always keep them, and this awful day, in our hearts. But then at that last shot of the truck as you walked by, it hit me and I burst into tears. I scrolled down and read some comments and suddenly I realized those tears didn't bring on a headache like crying usually does for me. Instead, they rolled down my cheek and what remained in my eyes made the sunlight coming through the window shine brighter and more brilliant than before. A really beautiful way to start my Sunday.
