I'm back!
They are my favorite couple on Shameless.
(I just want you to know that even though lately I've been vidding couples more, there are more family & friendship videos on the way! Don't worry, this is still a family & friendship channel. I won't stop making those kind of videos!)
You have no idea how much i struggled with the coloring on this one. I literally finished it last year, but somehow when i tried to render it, the quality looked really bad and the coloring did too. It still looks bad but whatever haha
I'm waiting for JimmySteve to come back for Fiona in this season's finale. He always comes back ;)
He's the only guy she's ever truly loved. It would be such a perfect ending for her to finally leave with him without something being on their way.

Yes I hope so too if I’m correct I think they were supposed to bring her back but I think because of Covid they couldn’t and they have always been one of my favorite ships When Fiona finally left at the end I wish jimmy came with her and plus jimmy kept things interesting and out of all the other guys And probably the one she didn’t cheat with😂 Beautiful edit

Same I'm disappointed in the way the show ended but we can assume she ended up with him off screen, because during Frank's death he's seeing all of his kids together, Jimmy's not one of his kids but he still see's him at the Kitchen table with Fiona. Maybe he knows that's who's best for his daughter or this was just a way of the writers saying "hey we couldn't get them to be here, so here you go." Just Chatwin probably got a surprise in his bank account for that un-credited stock footage cameo lol

i feel like jimmy understood her more then anyone. he challenged her, surprised her, changed for her and made her subject to change. he adapted to her family more then anyone else. out of all the other love interests he was the one staying at the house the most, helping the kids the most, and adjusting the most. he was unpredictable, frustrating and complicated, which i think made a perfect match for fiona. ride or die baby.

He helped out with bills and groceries and bought her a phone an washer! I know he wasn’t the best guy. But he was much better than anybody else she’s ever dated! That’s the main reason why I miss him. He didn’t care how fucked up their family was. He wished he had a big family like that! He’s was one of the most interesting characters. He never abused them,or took Fiona’s attention away from the kids! He would do anything for them bc he wished they were his family instead

yeah the writers... Jesus they fuckin suck for that but I think the final episode he was suppose to comeback because he's shown during Frank's death sitting with the family and it was intentional. Fiona was suppose to comeback for a few episodes and I think he would of been apart of those if Emmy Rossum didn't get pregnant and this whole pandemic shit

As the final season is playing out this is one of two things I want to see happen! The other was bringing Mickey back. That was an episode to remember when Ian realized Mickey was his cell mate!! Lol

they were toxic but it was also the best relationship fiona was in (my opinion). they had more chemistry and the feelings they had for each other were real, no matter what happens they come back to each other. he was also better with the kids and made people happy, he took care of them even when they just met.

It’s really sad because in the end he had to leave but the reason he went on that boat was because he loved Fiona to keep her and her family safe and in the 5th season he was barely in it and then he left and they just should have been together

I'm not really a fan of couples in tv shows but if there's one couple that I love and wish to see together, it's them. Back in time, when they were together, their relationship didn't seems to be perfect or even right for Fiona. But now, after everything she's been through, It seems so obvious that she belongs with Jimmy/Steve. He was there for her, most important, for her family, wich is the most important thing for Fiona. They loved each other and they left each other while being still in love. I really hope Fiona will get her happy ending with him ♥

I had a love like this, still hurts to watch this show it reminds me of that but I will always watch it. We even watched it together and the part where Frank and Monica were going crazy she said “hey just like us we always come back to each other”...

They also have always been my favorite couple of Shameless and even with all of Jimmy's mistakes, I just can not ship them. Jimmy has always meant to Fiona a life outside of her own family. He always encouraged her to put herself first sometimes and look for something for herself. So, if she left with him at the end of the season. it's a complete circle. Like it's always meant to be. Great video btw.

xTLtokio i agree with everything you said! it would be such a perfect ending for her character to finallyy leave with him. The first time she didn’t leave because her siblings still needed her. The second, he was literally kidnapped. The third, bad timing. Now it is the perfect timing. Her siblings don’t need her like they use to, because they are all grown up now, and her life is kind of a mess right now so she has nothing to lose if she decides to run away with him 😉 Thank you!

Steve was the love of Fiona's life, there was no other relationships that had the same passion and wildness, he also accepted her family, took care of them and all, but I can't forget the fact that he was hiding things since the begining, he went away, then came back, hiding things again, went away AGAIN and came back AGAIN, lying AGAIN! I really wish the show did him better because no one will ever bring that much fire to fiona's love life

I wanted Fiona to make the same decision as Ian, Ian chose the thrill and dangerous but the happiest he could be. I wanted that for Fiona so bad, and obviously Steve/jimmy was all that, they could of have everything😭

Came across this edit while rewatching scenes from the show on KZfaq Not only have you reignited my love for both Fiona and Jimmy Steve as characters... but you've made me remember this song - a song which was already added to my playlists, but hidden deep enough for me not to notice it. And now I've been listening to it obsessively on repeat as often as I can. It's so hauntingly beautiful. And the way you used dialogue from the show and matched it with the lyrics or timed it with the beat of the music... it's so damn good. Or how intricately you've put together the scenes and paralleling them. Even just the subtle things people would usually forget e.g the glances, the facial expressions, the gestures. You've put them together perfectly and it's clear that everything you've used has a purpose 💙 So again, thank you for making me realise just how much I loved these two together. And for reminding me why I added this song to my playlist years and years ago. You've clearly got a talent for this. This was POWERFUL. ✨
