@@maisies927 it’s challenging in this mode of communication to really express ourselves in small sound bytes. I’m also 65. I recently retired from teaching where I was around people all day to care for my mother, ill husband, and a special needs grandchild. So now, good or bad, I have time to think. Satan tries to put thoughts in my head about what could have been had I made different choices in my 20s. He tries to stir up seeds of discontent which as we all know, comparison is a thief of joy. The idea, however, that “it’s too late” is foreign to God. He doesn’t see it. It might be too late to fix some of the choices I made four decades ago, but that is my human frail self talking. It isn’t God’s voice. Years ago, I made a comment that I hadn’t chosen God’s Plan A for my life, but He had blessed me even in my Plan B. The person said, “How do you know your Plan B wasn’t God’s Plan A for your life?” Floored me! Because God doesn’t see “it’s too late.” He sees that we are created in His image, saved by blood of the Lamb Who Is Jesus, and forgiven when we ask. I don’t know your circumstances, nor do I need to know. But I do know God. I know He is faithful to His Word, and He says it’s not too late!
