theflyingdonkeypunch My thoughts exactly... Well, not that I wish any ill on Jimmy but....These two, musically, could be like..father and son...I guess this time son had to go first... I haven't watched footage of Chris' funeral service yesterday, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy was there... R.I.P. Chris Cornell.

theflyingdonkeypunch It's so rude to say, but yeah I'm actually mentally prepared for that lol. I'm listening since I was 11 and I searched up instantly how old the guy is and if they're still existing. That was the moment I took at least 6 years of mental preparing. If illuminati is real, please give the guy infinite life length

You can say he ripped off this or that but it was still him up on stage playing it....it was still his charisma that took Led Zeppelin to the top. I'd being willing to bet Jimmy inspired more guitarists then any one else in the history of rock n roll. He also was and is a wizard in the studio. He may not be my favorite guitar player but he certainly deserves more respect then some of you have given him. Long live Jimmy Page....you are the Man....and I love and respect all you've done for the world of music.

@IPushHard
@IPushHard 9 жыл бұрын
Jimmy page is my all time favorite guitarist. Hands down. I could say that based on the merits of his playing alone, but I don't have to. He already had several complete Zep albums written by the time they tracked the first album. He innovated new approaches to guitar tones and recording guitar based music. He played "in the song" because he understands exactly where a guitar sits in a (rock) song and what its role is. His blending of guitar dynamics from ultra-soft to heavy is easily among the best Ive ever heard. He is a great performer, writer, arranger, producer, and creator of arguably the greatest rock sound and band in the history of rock music. I see a lot of comments that are directly dissing Jimmy Page, because he is a target of opportunity. He isn't hidden behind a KZfaq handle or an ambiguous thumbnail pic. He is out there for everyone to see. So, if you really want to take shots at Jimmy, then why dont you step out of the shadows and publish something of substance with your real name on it? If you don't then your just a sh!t talking punk and we all got your number. Thanks

Jason Blankenship I wish that people would stay in school too, but I don't see that as his responsibility. There are a million good causes out there and I'm sure that each is at the top of someone's agenda, but I don't think that celebrities (or anyone else) have a responsibility to anyone's agenda but their own.
@jasonblankenship4418

I just want people to know the difference between 'then' and 'than'. I just thought that Jimmy could push people into staying in school. Illiteracy is nothing to joke about. But in a day and age of infinite information at our fingertips, there is no excuse for illiteracy.
@IPushHard
@IPushHard 9 жыл бұрын
Jason Blankenship I agree with you. Based on personal observation over my own life, I think we (USA) have lost a lot of ground in education. I'm not talking about engineering, science, medicine.. I'm talking about spelling "cat" if spotted the "C" and the "T",... The ability to follow logical decision making processes. Essential math skills. Reading comprehension skills. An understanding and respect for history. Sadly, of the very basics of education seem to be lost on this population. My own view on the importance of education is that it is the best possible investment that we can make in our own future. I live in an area (and I am not kidding, exaggerating, or BSing) where prison culture is admired. To be nice is to be considered weak.The only respected measure of intelligence is in how well one can steal or take from others. Lying or cheating is 2nd nature. I'm talking about a population of a million people, and there are only a handful or "good" neighborhoods available to live in. So reasonable people invest in barred windows, and security systems, or move away. All of the above can be attributed to a failed education system, poor parenting, and a government who sold out the American dream to country's like China. So, I am on your side. I still don't understand the Jimmy Page connection though. Thanks
@BubbaZen10
@BubbaZen10 8 жыл бұрын
+Jason Blankenship I don't get it man. Is there some reason why you think Jimmy Page should be doing that? Did i miss something in this interview? Is it because he put out a book? If you look at the book, it's pretty much all pictures mate. Jimmy is not some kind of author or English major. It's just a book with a bunch of pictures of him looking really cool, that us damn fans had to shell out 70 bucks to look at.

What's great about computers and audio is that you have this volume knob that generally goes up pretty good. If you don't have the right setup, you have no volume and your max volume slider isn't high enough for low volume videos like this. You might want to invest in, oh I don't know, a RECEIVER or speakers with volume knobs on it? Then volume no longer matters and YOU have control. One other thing you can do is download this video to your hard drive, open it up in MPC-BC, and boost the audio in the software. I guess people on the internet don't know how to use their devices.

Seriously man, this is a joke being played on me right? Two of my favorite musicians, in an interview i REALLY want to hear, and i have to turn it all the way up and still cannot hear half of what is said and have to strain to hear the other half?
