jimmy page... no other guitarist ever has put music together like he does. he does it all from psychedelic, blues, straightforward rock, to some of the most beautiful melodies ever like Going to California. not only was he a guitar prodigy but in my opinion, the greatest musical mind in all of rock. Jimmy Page is the reason I play guitar. Thank You Jimmy.

He started at a very early age. His parents made sure he was taught and he grew up good. I mean He played with Faces for god’s sake and went on from there. His love of early blues and folk music helped to shape his soul and then right on into Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley his mentor. ❤️🎸

What about the band he put together just fantastic, Lets not forget his style, he had a such a presence on stage. He was just the greatest. One of the best blues songs, blues solos, of all times... He will always be counted as one of the truly greatest players that ever lived. A musical genius. And a one of a kind... Not many players have ever reached such a status as Jimmy Page. It's a very small club that he's a member of. Has been, and will always be one of my absolute favorites......

I know exactly what you mean. I was a huge Zeppelin fan as a teenager although their music came out during my oldest sister's teenage years. I was totally in love with Robert Plant and for some reason, never paid Jimmy much mind. However, the recent airing of " Song Remains the Same" on VH1 has got me totally obsessed with him. When I see him in his younger days playing guitar for Zeppelin, I can relate to all of those crazed Beatle fans! It really does cause an ache in your heart.

@@petergolan242 I saw them in Pontiac Silverdome ‘77 Detroit….truly an out of body experience!! I had tix for 10/80 but instead I was absolutely crushed RIP BONZO. I met Robert in Detroit. He is so humble sweet gorgeous of course. My moms bff owned the biggest limo service in Detroit. It was my birthday suddenly I see a stretched limo pull up of course I’m really confused. Valerie said your chariot awaits birthday lady…I instantly started crying. He said no crying for birthday girls. He is an absolute joy to spend time with. I could listen to him all day long!! Gettin’ the Led out since 1969. I still listen to Zep & Roberts solo work everyday. I saw page & Plant twice and Planty with Alison. He is truly a master of his craft🎤🔥🎧⚽️🦁☮️

The first is the intro from LA, 4th September 1970, 1:06 is the solo from Paris, 2nd April 1973, 2:11 is the solo from the same LA gig, 3:16 is the intro from San Bernadino, 22nd June 1972, 4:22 is the intro from Leicester, 25th November 1971, 5:27 is the solo from the San Bernardino gig, 6:45 is the intro from the Paris gig and 7:58 is the solo from the Leicester gig. Exceptionally good performances of Since I’ve Been Loving You, my favourites.

I'm right there with you . What a gorgeous (and talented man). The toll that time takes on a person's appearance, especially a hot one like Jimmy Page, is a crying shame. God, he was beautiful when he was young. Those lips, exotic eyes and black hair!
