It is a couple of factors I think. He's always been the "smaller" part in the relationship with MS, also he was a lifelong friend and as he said, they have gone through a lot together. Sometimes weird bonds form. Also he had a close relationship to the daughters, I think it might be quite easy to make him think they are in danger. Also he might thought, that the plan was good and they all thought they were ahead of the police. They did not consider to fail, so they never planned for it. And also, if he wouldn't talk he could also face the death penalty - after being tricked with lies into a murder.

You obviously never saw Jodi Arias’ trial, lol! _The prosecutor rested his case in 7 days,_ and her “defense” went on for around 8 MONTHS!! It was excruciating, and the judge was horrible....it was her first capital murder case, and even though the State had enough to convict Arias 20 times over, the judge seemed to be afraid of making a mistake that would result in the verdict being overturned on appeal, so she ruled favorably for practically every motion the defense made. I think jimmy went along with the murder plot to try and fit in with the older two men. I don’t think jimmy did the killing but I believe he was just the driver and I believe he was in on the plot

Rogers has that lifeless look about him. Wright knew Mrs. SIEVER Had a thing for him, obviously not mutual with the swingers clan now

Jimmy is no man so he tried to run with the big boys. He was excited to be part of the plan. And I picture the slimy weasel pulling a Norman Bates and just flipping out on poor Teresa and being so proud of himself like, "look what i just did! Do you see that? Did you see me?" Woohoo I don't think he looks angry at Wright. I think he's still looking at him like please still be my friend.

Well, no....Teresa Sievers’ life was worth between $4.2-$4.5 million, which her daughters now have in trust. They get roughly $5000/week, which has to be spent or reinvested, so they at least will do VERY well for the rest of their lives. That’s what she was murdered for, but Sievers can’t benefit from his crime, so he gets nothing, and is sitting in prison for the rest of his life.

When Wright enters the courtroom, Rodgers doesn't take his eyes off of him. Can't help wonder what he (Rodgers) was thinking. Could he have been imagining himself in the cloths Wright had on? I am 2/3 of the way through this testimony (part 1) and the most notable thing is, only one sidebar. Amazing. Wright seems to be reasonably intelligent. I'm sure he will be testifying against Sievers too, unless Sievers takes some kind of deal, like Curtis did. Again, as with all of these family murders, how are the kids???

@@YahsDaughter534 The husband is on trial next. They probably want to get these two first. Conspiracy is awfully hard to prove so maybe they want Rodgers to flip on Sievers...Wright already flipped on Rodgers so apparently he'll flip on Sievers...

denkat2010 Considering how this trial has gone so far, one sidebar is unusual. I wonder if defense is feeling okay.

I don't believe the state would offer Sievers a deal; they have no reason to. Sievers' testimony against Rodgers isn't needed to make their case nor would it strengthen their case against Rodgers or Wright. Wright has already confessed and flipped on both of them. Hence, the 25-year deal.

@algage19642 жыл бұрын
According to his testimony, both of them struck Mrs Sievers using two hammers...I think he realizes that he has to tell the truth on this part of his testimony as he might have anticipated that crime scene analysis together with autopsy would reveal that two people did the job using two hammers.
