I'm from the South and most families here seem to express love a lot. A phone call to family or loved ones always ends with, "Okay, I love you. Alright, bye." Or some variation of that and visits end with hugs all around and, "Alright, love y'all. Bye," and, "Be careful," or "Drive safe," from the party not leaving. I'm sure some families don't, but I think it's more often than not that they do. Love from Alabama💖

I miss my grandmother. I don’t speak her language. Every time I go to see her, I just say hi and listen to whatever she says. She would stuff my pockets with cash, and that’s why I used to visit her every weekend. The last time I saw her, when I was 12, she gave me twenty thousand dollars. I was happy and couldn’t stop smiling. She held my hand and spoke; she was on the bed, saying things in a language I don’t understand, in a low voice, but I still got the message that she was saying she loved me and goodbye.

I've seen many Asians verbally express their love for family. Guess the Chinese are more reserved. The envelop thing is pretty relatable tho 😂

I work at a Chinese restaurant, and all of us get along really well there. The boss gave me a red envelope for Lunar New Year, and they've been doling out treats for a week. First it was an orange candy. Then it was a big dinner. Then we got to take home dumplings. Then fa gao. Best workplace ever.

As an Asian(Indian), you need to say know 5 more times then walk away, bring them water and snacks. Then u take the money. if they tell you to sit down with them u must say “I have to study for JEE Advanced” at least 3 times even if u are in 1st grade or college 😊
