I missed our songs moment, as this is back, i feel nostalgic, also this song oh my god, i love afterlife so much ugh, this is so special, i cant breathe, huhuhuhu, goddd, i really hope, she rests in peace, good damnnit, hope tony gets better, but i love this tony,who just love her and get sad and talk to his dog and watches her videos and make time for her evenwhen she is dead, i mean, idk , i want him to heal, for sure, but this broken tony will always be so fuckin special tome, " I don't want to write anything, because i feel the same way.;)

I always enjoy hearing Jimmy sing his own works....sure he's no Glen or Linda or Amy in terms of vocal chops ; but when the great Mr Webb performs you get a direct sense of the original inspiration that went into the song....in a world of so much fakery and BS, that's priceless and irreplacable.

There are many who have covered his works with more polish, perhaps with more technical singing ability, but I love Jimmy's own version of this one, especially...the imperfections give it such tremendous character... you hear this and you watch him sing it and you can't help thinking he is living the inspiration of it over again. And, as truly great songwriting will do, we resonate with these lyrics in our own way as they call to mind parallel events in our own lives. If this song doesn't make you cry you need to check if you have a soul.
