Alex say you've never wrecked a kart without saying you never wrecked a kart lol even little K1 speed go karts can hurt you you. You're sitting on a frame with no suspension really with no seat cushion on a peice of hard plastic for a seat. I got rear ended in a race coming into the pits and it fucked me up and it wasn't even close to as bad as this

I wouldn't want to be strapped into a kart as it has no roll bar or the likes. It's safer because if the kart flips, you're already ejected from it and are at a lesser risk of injury.

Great video, thx. And a great example of a nice theory in racing. The less amount of concentration and physical effort is actually needed to be quick, the more reserves you have ! Just as a mindgame: Imagine you had all the rules right there in your mind and would have followed those, because your mind was not occupied, you had the reserves left for a clear thinking, you would not have made the drive through. You could achieve that by either learning the rules by heart prior to the race, so your brain would not have an effort to have them at hand when happening. Or by being able to drive ( concentration and physical effort ) as relaxed as possible, to get some thoughts in your brain to work it out. So ... going fast as relaxed as possible is the main goal to achieve ! A different way to put it being fast and if you look az some past F1 races you might notice what a stress level to a driver can change ( e.g. keep hydrated, or Lewis arguing about a strategy, Vettel does the same thing ). So apart from doing some physical workout you might consider doing some stress resistance workout for your brain ( tarmac specialist ) as well. Just my 2 cents, but keep in mind, making the brain train, is evenly stressful as making your body work.

Hey Jimmy, awesome video! How you messed up,but still got your head in the game and drove a really decent race is awesome to see. At the beginning of the video you showed a small clip of the previous race where you spun explaining it wasn't video worthy. But I would love to see some content of your bad races as well. The thing I love the most about the club 100 series is seeing how you get into real life racing and all the ups and downs that come with it. I understand that you won't be uploading it to this channel, but could you please consider a second channel with (even completely raw) footage of the bad times aswell. To give a full insight on a club 100 driver. I'd love that!

5:35 yea no, that was under no circumstances your fault. Sure, without replays and camera angles, it's going to be difficult for the marshalls to see that, so I understand the penalty, but it was not deserved. He slides wide and the cuts across after you got your nose in. He lost control of his vehicle, and he does not have the right to the entire track at once.

@Excludos
@Excludos 4 жыл бұрын
@@ramiabouchakra2726 Let's ignore Austria 2020 because that one is completely different. Hamilton just accelerates and turned into Albon. However Brazil 2019 does at first look very similar. There's only one major difference, and that's the fact that Albon was in control of his car the entire time. He just took the corner wide, and Hamilton charged into Albon's blindspot. Hamilton should have known that gap was always going to close like it did, because Albon wouldn't even had any opportunity to see him there. Tho that said, I would still have called that a racing incident. Hamilton probably got punished to set an example

I marshalled at Buckmore park full time for a couple of years, club events and corporate. Seeing those drivers stand on the edge of the track trying to slow incoming karts down is terrifying to me. By the time they’ve reached you it’s too late, they’re well into their accident. Don’t try and do the flag marshals job even if they’re slow to react - it comes from wanting to protect your fellow drivers but you are so incredibly vulnerable standing there. I’ve seen it happen too many times and often the casualty ends up being the driver trying to slow others down.

Jimmy you did several mistakes here, so I will make a point list for you next time. 1: Confiscate ALL black and yellow flags, those you use in a quick bonfire at the start of the race. 2: Rig the electronic penalty system to just give the race control a playback of the Windows Error song when they want to try and issue a penalty 3: Bring the motorsport rule MK2 book to show them the new rules. 4: EVERY Safety car / cart gives bonus points pending on how badly you can destroy their vehicle in a crash! A well smashed safety vehicle can make you skip 70 places ahead on the bonus points alone! Follow those 4 and the race will be fun, even for the spectators :D

I remember doing a BUKC qualifier there in similar conditions and one of the guys in my team had a massive crash when he brought water onto the track at turn 1. Thought they might have sorted that by now as your incident was very similar
